submarines in BMS

In the editor there a tab that have submarines but MC do no have the option to add them.
Are this submarines in any way functional in the game ?

yes but they are underwater

Can they be controllebale ? like ships, add & place in the campaign ?
And can i see their status & operation on this submarines anywhere (like ships in MC) ?

I think it’s just one of those overly ambitious things leftover from original Falcon 4 days, the kind the developers never fully realized.

@depapier think soo too. Would be Cool to see Submarines fire TLAM TASMs on land Targets or Ships that you can Intercept ^^. Or Destroy a recently popped up Kilo or so.

I suggest you guys play the scripted campaign Chains of War in Command. In particular the 6 hours scenario Salvo.
These are the airbases and CSG which are targeted and destroyed by a salvo of missiles:
Andersen AFB, Guam, Kadena AFB, Okinawa , Kunsan AFB, South Korea , MCAS Futenma , Okinawa, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Misawa AFB, Japan, Naha AB, Japan, Osan AFB, South Korea, USS Ronald Reagan CSG (south of Yokosuka, Japan), Yokota AFB, Japan.If you add cruise missiles like the TLAM or any kind of short/medium range types of missiles (like SCUDs or DF-15, DF-21, etc) you can be SURE that you will not take-off from Kunsan or Osan anymore at the start of any campaign in Falcon 4 anymore. Same applies to the DPRK airfields.

Well ,. you can always DIY , it is a simple Taskforce , just add sub(s) in unit. - I don’t know are the model(s) still alive.
And no, contrary to @Mav-jp 's joke , they are/were not capable of diving.None of the maps I saw ever had negative altitudes (depth) … even on sea.
… maybe one day … I mean , technically is possible in vu2… all of the stuff is there , probably missing code… need to define vehicles/diving capability … but also theater (alt/depths) …who knows. Few more years of work
