did you replace the new .bin too?

OK, I found an area where there is some of the new tiles, and it looks great. So I think my install is correct. Although I flew around Kukes in Albania as Dema suggested and could not see anything there……North of Aviano, yes. I guess I was expecting it to all be like that…Approx what percentage of the land is photoreal tiles ?
One suggestion for improvement? ( I know this is a beta) The forest textures need more variety, to avoid an effect of blanket green coverage. I am wondering where and how I can find out how Falcon generates and places tiles, and what the options are there.
The field textures look great as well, its much less easy to repetition now, but again, could do with some more variety, again to avoid the blanket effect. I really like the way the photoreal towns blend with he textures at the edges, that looks very well done.
What you especially notice, in the photoreal areas, is what an effect of added depth and terrain elevation the tiles give - I know its just a picture of jagged rocks and outcrops etc, but it really makes the previously very flat and smooth terrain look more 3 dimensional. Great improvement.

I fixed the shimmering, not so difficult this time as the original terrain, I know it’s just question of time… waiting for the official !
Time to fly and see what the nature gave to us

No harm … rather than suppressing your posts directly … I should have sent you the contend via PM to send it back to Amido … next time I will do that… but try to avoid the “next time” by using En language in the form … or, if not possible, us PM

Porked my whole install. Thank God for backups. Removed and reinstalled Balkans. Did some other transfers without having to go the whole route.
Almost all of my mods were in the Balkans theater. Think I got them all back. Now, should I mess with the textures again?
