BMS Key File Help
-
I clicked Kolbe’s link and I can get to the website fine, but the “Download” button doesn’t do anything. Might be just this PC acting up.
Just checked and downloaded the file: Everything OK.
Are you Using Firefox with addon “NoScript”? -
Thank for the job, I’m learning falcon those days and I’m still searching a keybord shortcut to change SOI via BMS switch (I have no cougar stick, just a simple aviator …)
-
Kolbe, can you update link?

Thank you for your hard work! And you’re fast!

Wow!! Brilliant!!! Just what I was looking for. Thanks!!!

I would like to say thanks to Kolbe for this idea!
I have now made a Helios profile which will hopefully allow me to interact with all the switches in the cockpit using the touchscreen instead of reaching for the mouse, and having to map all those switches and knobs means I will have to add more callbacks to my .key file. Having an organized .key file as Kolbe has shown makes it easy to find things in the .key file.
I am using Morphine’s profile for my TM Warthog and am therefore not “starting from scratch.” Can anyone tell me what’s the best way to go about re-organizing my current .key file into one that looks like Kolbe’s?? Do I have to go line-by-line searching for each callback, then copy-pasting from my .key file to the new (Kolbe-inspired) .key file?

can’t you copy it all in to excel, add a corresponding letter for each instrumentpanel in the next column, use the sort function to get all the functions sorted by panel and go from there? It’s a bit of work, but accurate and complete…

Hi Fluke,
I am not sure if your post is adressed to me or to -ice.
I am just working on a new version of my key files. An excel file which will make it easy to assign DX functions to different Hotas systems and to change keyfile settings (with automatic keyboard layout generation) will be included.
3-4 weeks. As always… -

I’ve prepared something similar, stay tuned soon.

Don’t know if there is a DX based key file floating around here. Just check Saitek section.
But if you know the DX button numbers of your X-65 it would be rather easy to build the key file code lines from scratch. -

Hi,
thanks for the heads up. Damn file hoster. I wish to have a more durable solution for hosting my files…Anyways, even if it doesn’t makes sense I just uploaded the old ver 1.4 files. The link works now.
My work on completely overhauled key files and documents is almost finished. So expect a new version in the coming days. -
Hi,
strange but is cannot download ti neither,
it ask me to download Ilivid but nothing starts after,
waitning your news,
thanx -
Hi,
the DL-link works. You have to click on the correct image. I just updated my first post to clarify that.
The ad-banners can be rather annoying if you don’t use tools like Adblock Plus or similiar browser addons -
yes it does,
thank you Buddy
