Eurofighter Typhoon Cockpit Overhaul and Enhancement Project
-
Just a small update on the WIP addition of new cockpit indications.
Top image shows the “Refueling Probe” RDY caption and the Softkey highlight bars for fuel transfer norm and primary engine control lane (L1). Centre images shows probe reftracted (no RDY caption) and forward fuel transfer and secondary engine lane (L2) selected. Bottom image shows the “APU” (JSF running light) caption. I have implemented more already, but this just as some examples.

@Scorpion82 i’d say this would be easier with a new cockpit 3d model, but pretty amazing what you’ve achieved without 3d modelling
-
Not sure about this. The new indicators functionality is implemented into the cockpit display model anyway and not into the main cockpit model.
-
Left MHDD Softkeys finished (those that are of relevance). Note the PFL warning related to the manual flyup disabled (GCA/OFF - OFF highlighted). I have changed the highlight bars color to be not that dominant and better matching with the label colors.
-
Work In Progress DASS format. RWR functions essentially done. ECM still requires some investigation, essential functions work however. Chaff and Flare readouts are now implemented and functional. Centre shows custom “Missile Launch Warning” symbol.
Left Glareshield is making progress in terms of Subsystem Key, Autopilot and Moding Key functions. But there is still some work to do.
-
Small update.
DASS Format and DWP are for the time finished. Captions through lamp test.
DASS Format, all indications visible are dynamic!
Current Dedicated Warning Panal configuration
Miscellaneous captions across the cockpit.

This project / update completely slipped by me for some reason… looks amazing, thanks for your hard work @Scorpion82!

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. I’m in the final stages of the next release. Features are frozen for this release. I aim for a 4.37.3 compatible version only.
Apart from two minor texture updates, I’ll have to organise and clean up the files, update the cockpit guide and ramp start checklist and update the installation guide.
Stay tuned for the release within the next two weeks.

Awesome work! Looks very promising! -
Gentlemen,
I’m proud to announce the release of the Eurofighter Cockpit Package v1.3.0 for Falcon BMS 4.37U3.
For installation, extract the EFCPv1.3.0.zip file to a location of your choice, browse to the docs folder and follow the instructions in the EFCP_Installation.pdf. I have streamlined that document a bit.
Key features of the new version comprise:
- Several model and texture updates
- Custom DASS Format on Centre MHDD
- Dedicated Warning Panel with several functional warning/status captions
- Stylised custom captions on the Left and Right MHDDs
- Highlight bars and dynamic legends for some MK, SSK, SK and Autopilot buttons
- Updates/changes to the switch functionality inline with the changes introduced
- Updated manual
