Hi my friend “110 stingray_SIX_TWO”.
Congratulations for your great work with skins for Tomcat! Thank you very much for your hard efforts.
Now if you want, make also this version of skin for VF-103 Jolly Rogers:
It is my loved skin for my best loved squadron of this legend, THE F-14 Tomcat. And i’m sure that the specific skin be loved by a lot of others ;).
Thank you anyway mate and keep your great work high, as you already do!

neystratiou, it’s done
What you posted is Bureau Number 160393 AJ200 in 1980 or later. I have this BuNo done for 1979, the first year for the Jolly Rogers (with the F-14 squadrons). Below you can see BuNo 160385 AJ201 in 1980. The CVW8 airwing insignia on the lower right section of the tail and the Modex number below the tailtip is characteristic of this timeframe, also the Navy had abandoned the classic beige top/white underfuselage color in favor of a gray all around scheme which would continue into the late 80s.
I’ll post up two '79 birds later today with the classic color scheme and a new bird that I’ve never put together before…VF-1.

That’s the A Model from “The Final Countdown” yea?

The Jolly Rogers is an F-14A and yes, this is the bird from the 1980 movie ‘The Final Countdown’…
As far as the skinning goes…my rig got hit by a pretty nasty virus attack and the system is down at the moment until I can get to my W7 disc…as I just moved to a new city and all my stuff is still in storage it could take a while. Guess Berlin has more capable hackers than the rest of Germany
Regarding that Sundowners skin…you do not want to know how long it took me to align those teeth on the nose cone…god almighty. The tailart and ventral fin stuff was literally a day in disneyland in comparison…

Badass Cat on the block, Big fan of your skins in the FF days. Love the 20 or so skins package you put over there. Hope to see it here. Hopefully the Devs will get the carrier ops in the right gear. Once again Dam nice skins.

Rig still down…will fly the 500 miles home and drive the 500 miles back this weekend to get my OS disc…in the meantime some preview of what’s to come. This is developing into the same never ending story as my engine rebuild… that takes forever as well.
So for the 14:
And the engine:
OT off

Both pics are great.

LOL, real life sucks!!! I’m so far behind with anything Falcon related, it’s total Nutz.
Have to build and install shelving units in 3 different places over the next few days. Not any pre-fab crap either, all out of raw lumber, total of 15 shelves, one in a closet, and two in separate laundry areas.
Why?? Cause the GF says, HAHA…
Pete, you’ll get it all done, you always do. So lets see a pic of the ride that that engine is going in??
Take care,
Brian

The ride is awesome and yea, Inline 6 = Very Nice, my Chevy Colorado pickup is an Inline 5 and it’s pretty powerful, a 2004, 80,600 miles on it and haven’t had any issues yet(lucky sonsabiatch I am). I had two BMW’s while stationed in Germany, Loved 'em both.
