Interesting… Molni is that a video from BMS? how can you make the rockets release one at a time?
I’m too lazy to search in code right now, if you know already to do with data, it would be better :mrgreen:

I did not documented the changes but likely I can “rediscover” again and I will post them here
At least for creating one type of single launched rocket is doable using the S-24 RKT (as I can remember) DB entry. It can be smoke/WP rocket by cloning the smoke type of BDU-33 for the rocket. Of course DB + dat + rack changes are required. I haven’t tried clone the S-24 DB entry, but if it is possible there is nothing (?) what can prevent the more extensive usage, any unguided rocket can be done if somebody make new 3D models.

I know, but we also need a concpetion. As I know the number of slots on racks are limited. For rocket pods which has less than X (X < ?) slot, the rockets can be placed into the pod (rack). Above X qty. the rockets are “hidden” as you can see in my test videos. Hayab posted a value for X but I cannot remember the exact value. If rockets are placed in rack it should be made that fins have to be opened after the launch. If they are not made in that way the fins are interferenced with the 3D model of rocked pod, but likely it is not a serious issue only from very close and certain angles would be visible.

The installer isn’t for BMS. But the models are fine if you manually install them.

I’ll upload the individual models for you in one package - but can you explain in more detail how I can change the LAU-3/a for example to fire single rockets? Take a screenshot of what I need to change in F4Browse or something? I checked that other thread and didn’t see specifics on what needs to be changed in the DB. I can figure out how to change the effects to smoke from the training bombs.
I don’t use the 80s theater so need to know how to make the change to our theater.

I dropped the idea for my mod because I was not able to solve quickly that LAU rocket pods be under pylons. JanHas somehow was able to do it. I will check the issue but likely only at weekend.

So you’re not going to explain what we need to change in the DB to fire one at a time? The F-16 rockets are already setup to be under the pylons. You just need to swap out the model since the default LAU-3/a has that untextured model. It’s quick and easy… I just didn’t follow which Su rocket database info I needed to copy.

Edit: bump, figured it … took the BDU-33 D/B warhead.
How is linked the warhead effect to a specific weapon? I’m asking because was able to set the rack as I wish and single launch works. If I get this information I can post the tweak. The launch effect is not 100% perfect, in some situation there is a very small drop effect of rockets.
I have to say even it works the single launch I do not understand how it works. There are two S-24s in the DB, S-24 and S-24 RKT. You have to use as weapon the S-24 but in game if you use labels you can see that S-24 RKT is used afther the launch, and exe use S-24 RKT modeling values (damage, blast radius, etc.) are used instead S-24. It seems to me one weapon somehow uses two DB entries. So the process is doable but I have no idea how can be applied to to model than one unguided rocket. The two existing DB make possible to simulate only one type of rocket.
