OF mods: JanHas, realism patch?

I have been busy (with converting LV’s and my new study landscape architecture). I have converted the block 52, 52+ and 52 CFT. The DK, BE, 40CG and 50CJ all have received some additional model and skin fixes. BE has now the blueish skins, new hot air exhaust in front of main gear doors, lighter color of the antenna’s below the radome. All other models have those model changes too. The 52+ models have an upgraded tail.
A PSD package for the standard BMS F-16C is available too. All new files are available via my website http://www.launchvipers.com/bms.htmlNew CBU-52 and 58 models and skins has been build too.
F-16D: I have been fixing lighting and model issues. License plates have been added. In a flight of four F-16D’s you will see:
- 16 different patches on the pilots.
- 16 different names on the canopy.
- 4 different tail numbers (tail and nose).
- The first jet of the flight can be made the boss bird. Shadow letters/numbers.
- Each jet can have it’s own kill marks below the canopy.
- Each jet can have different squadron patches on the intake.
I have started building the new 3/7 pylon model.

Where can I find the LODs of CBUs?
They will be released with the new F-16. I’m now working on the new 3/7 pylon. After that the new TER is build and I will make sure the AG models will fit perfectly. That means I will have to move the weapon model (poly’s) so the lugs align properly. I have to attach/fix the CBU-103 umbilical cord as well.

Sure, if you use the LVN F-16AM DK I can create / give you the PortAF F-16 skin. I have an old version somewhere. Or is it intended for the standard BMS F-16A?

I think there might be a slight error with the wing skins from the cockpit view on the Block 50. The 148th Have Glass appears to have standard gray wings from the cockpit, and the 79th appears to have the Have Glass wings from the cockpit. What’s the .dds files for those so I can switch them?

The wing model for the pit view use the same textures as the F-16. You can check them with the excel F16 TexSet. (Falcon BMS 4.32\Docs\Other Documentation\Database\F-16s TexSet.xls)

That’s strange. I doubled-checked the LOD Editor and the wing skins should be correct, but in game they are switched.

Everything Janhas ever modded should make it as default into BMS…IMHO…from Nav lights to skins to models.

And i would add to that statement that, JanHas models should be an example for others, as far as i know, he always makes sure that his models do not cause any weird glitches and no frame reduction.

Absolutely! When I go back to my vanilla install everything is so boring without the updated models, especially the weapons.

It seems that all the Block 50 interior textures are one off from the external texture… external textures display fine, but the VC textures are for the previous selected skin… It doesn’t really make sense because like you mentioned according the TexSets.xls they def should use the same external skin as internal… any ideas?
