-
Looks good, have fun guys!

Wow. Im jealous now!
I used to live in muenster… If I ever move back to germany u will have a 16th pilot.Last september our sqn hold our 5th annual LAN (we call them Blind Weasels) and we got 16 of us planning, flying and having fun together.
We did an epic 12 hour COMAO, total time from planning to end of the debrief.

Ah, I’ve been too late…
Grew up in Hesse, and now moved to near Eisenach because I started another job. I played offline for years now, but never found someone to fly online with on a regular base. What a pity, Fulda isn’t that far away.

Really nice pic guys!!!

wow I missed this. Some familiar faces in those pictures!

Ha, ha. The location is only 60km away. Ein Katzensprung…
Maybe next time?If you are seeking for some online experience, take a look at this.
(@ DeeJay: Can’t you make it a sticky, please? Think it’s worth it.)Really nice pic guys!!!
More pics are here. Also a small review of the event (German language only).

Good old LLTM times. :headb:
Are you going to participate this year?Btw. for the interested guys here.
Registration is open since a couple of weeks.
1st post is updated. -

Maybe next time?Got a few private things going on (think I’ll move to Eisenach), but I can actually imagine that. Been working in Berlin some time and drove those 500km one way each weekend, so from my point of view, almost everything in germany is “around the corner”
I did not join a virtual squad yet because I can’t guarantee any fixed time for flying. But “having fun to fly” without fixed requirements like on the 49th sounds like I could get that done. I even had to quit my membership in the aviation club in my home village due to working somewhere else and having unregular working times which is a real pity.
Also, I need to upgrade my PC first. I noticed that with the new shader system in BMS 4.32, FPS will rapidly drop when using TGP/WPN/TFR pages on the MFD and my PC will struggle with the campaigns around Seoul. I fly from Kangnung, mostly BARCAP or ESCORT, so that’s fine- but not worth a squad. Having 15fps in the heat of the battle ain’t no fun.
Will upgrade the system within the next months. -

Are you going to participate this year?heck yeah!
Are you guys going?
It is my intention to participate, I will try and be there. If not, maybe I can join you guys at Buchenau (;
-
I just got the news a couple of weeks ago that sometime during this autumn I will be moving to Germany (Münster) with my family.
I can’t make to this year LAN, but if there it’s a Buchenau 2015… I’ll be there.
-
Welcome to germany!
Some guys from the 49th live a little bit west of Münster if i remember correctly (near Coesfeld/ Ahaus I think). I’ve been there often, it’s a nice countryside and also nice people over there.

Thanks.
I will use this year to learn German so I am not a complete sandbag at Buchenau.
Right now my German skills are pretty basic, eventing even though I was already living there for two years.
I’ll have to do it better this time.[emoji3]

German is a rather difficult language- I was so lucky that I learned it as my mother language It will come over the years with time and practice.
In the west of germany, most of the people do speak english (in the east, they learned russian until 1990), so you can always try in english as well Have a good start over there.

Welcome to ‘my’ town.:D
Can we switch places? Not that Münster sucks but I love dry and desert alike areas and your local area seems to fit perfect…
Anything close to a high desert area can’t be bad.:D -

Although this time grass is literally greener in Muenster.

Yep, it is (checked on google lol).
Münster has a lot to offer culture and party wise and every super market brand you can imagine, so for pure living it sure has its benefits.
Edit:
Also excellent hardware shops here.Hope you will like it here, after all Germany is a nice place to be, contrary to some of my more negative posts back then.:D
Sorry for the off topic gents.
