All is working fine, but the MFD image in the tablet is not appearing. the osb buttons owrk, the f
chaff/flare numbers is appearing, but not the mfd images on tablet.what i’m doing wrong?
for the server, there’s an english version of it? what is the latest versions?
I have the same issue. My Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab 10.1 is rooted as well. The MFD buttons work but I do not have any images. The screenshot feature doesn’t work either. I’ve tried to “reset” the MFDs by clicking on RWR and ICP and then clicking back to the left and right MFDs. Whatever I try, I just can’t seem the get the MFDs to show. I also have the MFD, HUD, and DED enabled in the BMS extraction feature. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. At least the MFD buttons work because that was the feature that I was looking for. Overall a great product.
Edit: By the way, when I click on “Start Reading Falcon MFD”, I get a CTD every time. I’ve tried this on my main computer and on my laptop. It always crashes. I’m not sure if this has something to do with the MFD pictures not showing up. I’m running the program as administrator.

I have the same exact tablet with the exact same problem. Good to know that rooting will not fix the issue as well. I am currently using it just for the OSB buttons at the moment until a fix is found.

did you follow Step 1Step 1 : To take screen shoot from computer to tablet, Please open file (…\Falcon BMS 4.32\User\Config\falcon bms.cfg) falcon bms.cfg with notepad or like program. Find set g_bExportRTTTextures 0 and change as set g_bExportRTTTextures 1.

So is your server program working or not ?
it should be work.Yes, the server program works fine. The only problem is that the MFD pictures and screenshots don’t show up. If I leave everything alone, I can at least push the MFD buttons and receive flight data. Once I click on “Start Reading Falcon MFD” though, the server program crashes to desktop every time. If I don’t click “Start Reading Falcon MFD”, then the server program does not crash.

It seems I’m having the same issue that several others in this thread are reporting: I’ve followed all the steps, and the buttons and flight data work, but I don’t get the images from the MFDs. For what it’s worth, I can get the test image, but not images from BMS itself. I’ve got a 10" Acer A200 tablet running Android 4.0.3, not rooted. I’ve gone into my firewall configuration to always allow A:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Launcher.exe, A:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Bin\x86\Display Extraction.exe and A:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Bin\x86\Falcon BMS.exe, just in case firewall permissions might have been the problem. No luck. It may be that display extraction from the MFDs to the tablet just might not work with the tablets those of us who are having trouble are using, but I’d really like to figure out a solution.

Its just too simple a solution to actually be the case BUT, I seem to remember that I also received the test image without doing anything else. BUT I needed to click the left/right mfd tabs in the app once it was all running in order for the actual game data to be displayed. I was initially frustrated by lack of image also but its fine now. 1st run also popped up windows firewall requester box to give permissions. I suppose if it did not then it would be a sign of no proper communication going on.
-
Do you remember which programs you had to grant permission to in order for everything to work? Were there any other than the ones that I granted full permission to?
-
ColbaltUK - Just to be clear, you were you able bring the image up on the app?
-
Well, maybe this is the sort of thing that only happens to me, but mine just started working when I tried it again just now. I didn’t really do anything differently (at least not that I could tell); the only thing I did was reset my router, although I have no idea why that had any effect. But now I am getting the image from the cockpit MFD in the MFDs on the Android app. Whatever I did differently this time from what I’d been doing before, I hope I can figure it out again! OK, time to see if I can get DWVAC and FaceTrackNoIR working. I’ll report back here if I have any more questions, or if I can figure out what I did differently to get the MFD images to show up in-app.

Catch - Did you have to set any firewall settings? Did the maps come up?
-
I know that komurcu is working on a fix for that ingame2android MFD problem.

Yeah I tried that already and I did give the firewall permissions when I first ran the program. Maybe I’ll try to restart the router……
Edit: Restarting the router didn’t work.

I’m running Norton 360 as my firewall; I added the following programs, set to “allow” in the firewall settings:
A:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Launcher.exe
A:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Bin\x86\Display Extraction.exe
A:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Bin\x86\Falcon BMS.exeI also set A:\FalconMFDServer\FalconMFDServer.exe itself to “allow.” (I think it might have been set to “auto” before, but I just switched it over to “allow” so that I wouldn’t have to worry about whether the Norton firewall was playing nice with it or not.)
After I downloaded the RAR of the MFD server program, I un-RAR’d it to a folder on my A: drive (it’s my data drive; my drive is a solid-state drive, on which Windows 8 is the only thing installed; everything else gets installed to the A: drive). So it didn’t install, per se–meaning that there’s no entry for it in the Apps list in the Windows 8 start screen (the equivalent of the start menu for previous versions of Windows). So I just created a shortcut to the .exe and pinned that shortcut onto the start screen.
After I changed the firewall settings by adding the “allow” permission for the four programs listed above, I restarted my router. But the firewall permissions and the router restart are the only things I did differently from when it wasn’t working for me. For what it’s worth, after I made those changes, if I click “Start Reading Falcon MFD,” the server program will crash. Leaving it alone, though, the images started coming up. I’ll play around with it some more to see if I can figure out anything else about what I may have done differently without realizing it, but for starters, see if adding those permissions in your firewall settings will do anything for you.
