@'Corporal_Lib:
;286978’]I get it through TSH (I´m on Win 7 64 bits) but this guy seems to have another tip ->
Good Ol´Korea 3.0 still kicks too, but I´m eager to see BMS 4.33 Hornet/Superhornet properly done as we´ve seen on some “leaked” videos
Hey, if you want to run Basilisk II, you can run Korea 2.0! Not a very sophisticated sim, but quite fun. PM me if you’re interested.

I still have my Janes F/A18 disk, but I don’t think it will run on a modern rig. Seems like I tried it a few years ago, but I couldn’t get it going.
I can be made to run through voodoo and witchcraft: trouble is, it aint worth it grafix wise.
Only 1 group I know of still flies it online if you to ask them…http://www.vfa-41.net/Home_Page.php

Sims unfortunately suffer amongst the worst for age if they can’t be upgraded or modded. Even if the graphics are primitive, if the resolution is low, the game can be almost unplayable. Some games, like EF2000, have been hacked into working with modern resolutions. Other games that would still be quite cool to play, like Fleet Defender, just have very, very low resolutions which make them more a chore to play than anything else. This isn’t as much an issue for games like RPGs or strategy games, but then, those aren’t really the conversation peice, either.

I still play Janes Fighters Anthology from time to time…but, it’s almost not worth playing actually. I do like some of the strategy elements in the campaign. (A/C management, weapons inventory). Even though the flight model is…arcadic…compared to today’s standards, it’s the only game that lets me to “some” VSTOL. The naval part…eh…not so much.

SF2 North Atlantic (modded of course) for NAVY fix….but no MP there…
And i miss MP not so much for the human opposition but for the human wingman -

I could say this about BMS, Janes, DCS…well just about every sim out there. Although I haven’t done any MP in a LONG time.

Two grills and two ventilations holes are missing between the vertical stabs.

Thou hast a good eye sir, I dub thee, RIVET COUNTER, THIRD DEGREE!. You may advance in rank only by continuing in such a worthy manner among BMSers, for example, aligning the angle of the weapons pylon to the aircraft and store properly, or noticing the missing details on the ejection seat inside the canopy of a certain model…… bravo, good show!

Grills? Canadians don’t need no stinking Grills.
-
Grills missing? What a shame!!
-
Did you say grills?
-
Hey man, the man is clearly only trying to promote the highest quality possible in the simulation. Don’t rib him [too much] for it.
-
Really dont know, where this Grills are.
Can you post a Pic from the real thing? -

Yes this, which is why he has been accurately dubbed a rivet counter (this is a good thing in the BMS world- great catch!)

Just a little bit bigger then a rivet me thinks.

You maybe right mate… anyhow, nothing wrong with a sharp eye looking in the [possibly] wrong direction, hey? Good luck to all.
