Yes, they are.
Setting them correctly has proven a challenge.

Good God man! This never seizes to amaze me, the moment you see it in action.
In a little bit the outside will catch up so we can emulate a little something like this:
Tomcat, Baby.

A true AWESOME fighter jet!!! Soon to a (BMS) theater next to you!!! Thanks Nizmo!!!

Wing structure:
Since you guys will be seeing these a lot from all sides not least of which from the pit we decided to recreate the real life wing structure of the F-14.
This is a scaled down representation, originals include connecting hinges and actuator arms which will connect the moving surfaces to the wing structure. They will be visible and fully textured.
Sweepwings, Baby.

Hey Nizmo,
Just out of curiosity, how many triangles in your pit and 3d model ?
This does look very good, anyway !

External Model -29,500 Triangles
Wings Model - 19,000 Triangles
Details Model - 45,000 Triangles
Canopy Model - 29,000 Triangles
Cockpit Model - 70,000 Triangles
In all it is a trick question. The F-16 Cockpit = 5 LOD’s
- Edit - Switches and knobs are part of the cockpit. Totaling to 70,000 Triangles

Great work Nizmo. The glass reflections give the pit a really nice touch of realism. I took care to add an F-14D squadron to the USS Theodore Roosevelt in my Somalia Theatre. So, Fox Three Mike can have a special meaning during an engagement with a distant Su-27:D

Outstanding work as Always but those MFD’s scratches seems a bit overdone to me…
Thanks for your job! -

Thanks for your job!Just playing around for now. How about some dust and fingerprints?
Who’s fingerprints??

FPS???
Just asking,
demer -
Looking good Nizmo. Seems to me a good idea would be to try to give, a more Black - “Greenish” glass look, rather than the Blue looking reflection… Suggest also a little more "“discrete” scratches and fingerprints. Keep up the good work!! Nice job man!!

FPS???
Just asking,
demerI have not noticed ANY performance decrease of FPS. The cockpits are loaded to the ram during the pie screen. SO the cockpit is never partially rendered. Instead its fully rendered all the time.
I get about 75 FPS on the ground in-pit, in 2560-1600 res.
Hope it helps.
