Okay, finished first campaign after patch. This time things went a little different. Campaign went on to the last hour of Day 6 (Six Day War?! LOL) and ended in a stalemate (peace settlement…sigh, no medal this time). I had Damascus captured early on, but sometime during Day 3 my base got bombed after Iran re-supplied Syria and I lost a whole day of missions waiting for runway repairs. I had a tank battalion parked just outside of Beirut, but they would advance no further. It wasn’t until near the end of the campaign that I realized why. There was a Armored Battalion sitting in Beirut that was not showing on the map. When I finally tried to send my tanks in manually, they would get to the edge of the city, the Syrian forces in Beirut would pop up on my map and drive my tanks back to their position just outside of town. After this realization I started adding packages to Beirut to take out those pests in hopes that would allow my ground forces to march in and end this. Alas, I was too late…there were around thirty vehicles that needed taken out and after reducing their numbers to about half, the campaign ended in a peace settlement. Now running another campaign to see if I can improve. Had no technical issues other than no missions generated against the ground forces in Beirut, but I can fix that myself by adding packages now that I know what to look for. One bright spot…was promoted to Lt. Col. during this campaign. :headb:

Im running on ace settings and set by hq off, curious to see what happens.

Only flew 3 missions last weekend, dark now though, just no time to fly. Damn it.
Glad it lasted 6 days, would love to see it worked so it would last like 20 or 30 days in the future. -
Enjoying it so far. Day 1 is a really challenge until I decided to let things run for a few hours before my first flight. The girl voicing the Hebrew ATC sounds great. I don’t understand a word so I just assume she is saying, “Yes mister big, strapping fighter hero…PLEASE take any runway your heart desires…the airport is yours…as am I.”

Not sure what your asking but if you started a campaign with v096,finish it first then install update, they are not compatible
or if your saying you won on day 2, congrats. -
Hey echo, how can i make the campaign run until win or loose, or how can i stop a stalemate or boredom hours.
Im thinking im going to need more than 6 days. with all setting to ace and set by hq off, i only just now started to cross the border.
day 2 late afternoon, not sure if this will even work out but im having fun so far. -

day 2 late afternoon, not sure if this will even work out but im having fun so far.Watch and see if your ground troops make a lot of progress heading into mid-day 3. They tend to go after Damascus first and seem to take that city with a fair amount of ease. If your troops in Lebanon go on past Beirut, I suggest adding Search and Destroy packages to Beirut (see post #160) as there will likely be an Armored division and some AAA that don’t show up on the UI map. After my stalemate campaign I ran another one that ended in victory as I used the method above. After whittling down the threat in Beirut my ground forces marched right in taking the city and ending the campaign. Those boredom hours are perfect for adding packages when the campaign is not generating fruitful missions. HTH,

Im not sure i have enough troops for a advance, but twindling theres down. Havent even taken sur yet. Airliffs running though.

I had one armored division outside Beirut and they marched right in and took it by themselves after some of the threat was reduced. Seemed like they were the only group that knew the objective. The rest of my ground forces in Lebanon seemed to think they needed to take Tripoli…AI, go figure!

Just installed today.
I am noticing with the 4 ship off to the range, the sim is shuttering/skipping frames….
Anyone else getting this?
And yes, I have a fast tricked out alienware m18x with ssd 16 gigs ram and 2 NVidia sli 580’s so that’s not the issue…

Make sure to Turn off Vsync it might buy you a smoother game play.
In addition, pull the HDR sliders all the way down. -
Uri-ba, thanks but im good. I have no problems , theater works great for me.
Even in the start with a wall of migs, didnt drop below 30.
I do have v sync enabled though. But i like it that way. Might try.turning off just to check though.

Open in a text editor this file: Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Add-On Israel\campaign\Israel\save2.tri
And go to:

Change 100 hours and 6 days to something longer.
Edit: Please note this could lead to a never ending / stalled campaign. The campaign scenario is tested to conclude in less time than above, and if it stalls for a long time (can happen from time to time depending on player performance and some randomness) a peace agreement by the times defined above is actually a realistic solution. In extreme case such as ace force levels + ace AI + manual priories it’s possible extending it is justified, but do it “at your own risk”
In any case backup the original file. -

Still day 2, 1700 hrs, some troops moving up towards sur now, I think I dont have enough troops to advance yet.
Waiting to see if more troops are brought in to advance as it progresses, in any case its different.
With me only having about 1/4 everything syria has ( got them knocked down to just about even though ) Im wondering if i get more troops shipped in or stuck with what i have throughout the campaign.
That could be the stalemate then,correct ?
I ve got airlifts flying all the time in my ato,anyway I think its proceding nicely so far, just wish i had more time.
Ive been looking for a long campaign, hell scince its sp, i would like one about 30 days long, would take me months to have an outcome.

Last reinforcements should have arrived by that time so no more until the end. For normal settings they are enough however we haven’t tested ace + ace.
Longer campaigns with more complex politics and team relations are planned for future versions of Israel.

Well i dont have much time to fly lately, couple flights a week if lucky , so this could take a while .
Good on the more complex campaign.
Well its nice flying a working campaign besides korea.
Interesting so far trying to stay ahead because a lot of troops dont show on 2d ( fog of war ? ) and i do have recon flights up too. Hmmm kepps me thinking. -
When I create a TE, after I step into the jet in the 3d world, ALL AI jets disappear, flights, AWACS, tankers, all of it. Also, AFAIK, all ground units too.
Who knows why?
