Btw, Dee-Jay, did qawa present the cockpit switch map to the BMS dev team to be included in 4.33? I mean this one: https://www.mediafire.com/?mhshzygwbx2imy1
I do not know.

I do not know.
I read somewhere that questions for the Devs could be asked to the forum mods who would pass them on within the team

Hello guys,
Basically, my aircraft will have a cockpit. Only airlifters won’t.
For now, on my shoulders, I expect :
- Mitsubishi F-2
- Mitsubishi F-1
- Sukhoi Су-34
For the rest… I don’t know yet. Maybe :
- F-16A
- F-5S
- FCK-1
Cheers,
Radium
F-16A, my biggest dream.

Great News!!!
I should trade all above by F-16A
Thanks for your hard work! -
I would love the F16A too
-
My wish list is also the C-130 and the C-17……
But somehow, - and I do not understand WHY - everybody in here hates those planes!!
-
How would that work with F-16A Cockpit? You have to write a complete new avionics code too? Nor normale Radar, no second MFD and so on… seems that is a quite large work…

I also like F-16A very much, for the reason it is kinda specific. I love the legacy aspect, you know, in my country, we had not so long time ago still old aircrafts like Jaguar and Mirage F-1, while in my welcoming country, Japan, Mitsubishi F-1 still flew some years ago too. These fighters performed as good as their NATO counterparts. I feel sympathy for these fighters. I am the one who believe the weapon like a fighter aircraft is important to analyze, but, air forces doctrines is much more interesting to understand.

So am I!

Well, not from me… I am really not interested to build airlifter cockpits… As there is no real reason to make it for now in BMS.

At first, I would adapt F-16C cockpit, with no hard-code specificities. Later, according to our dev team priorities, my leaders may decide to achieve something or not.

Yes.
Ts ts ts, Dee-Jay.
Never had a look at the Docs folder? -

The F-16A should be fantastic!
Imagine such improvement over Desert Storm, Israel and Korea’s 80 theaters! DROLL!!! -

I will have to
But I just wanted to make sure it will be in the initial release of 4.33, for those who want to fly the JA37. Without it you have a clickable cockpit but only a faint idea of the functional lay-out.

F16 A :bowd:

Enough reference material available

Those pics are form the USAF museum in Dayton AFAIK. Cool to sit in the pit, fits like a glove as they say.

Nope, those are my own, taken at the former museum of the Dutch airforce in Soesterberg.

Thanks, it was a privilege tot be able to take them. I’ve got a lot more, available for any 3D cockpit artist who wants to make an ‘A’ version.
