Just noticed there one instance where the MiG-23 is locking someone that is on his 6. (at 17.45.20)

ACMI is also showing Visual Lock…

Ah, interesting.
How about the missile still hitting though? Can a radar AA-7 (a R23 as mentioned in the ACMI I saw) maintain a lock?

I did not know that. If so, what you’re saying is that the 90° and maybe even 180° off-bore lock may be a visual lock, and once he turns hot, he gets a RADAR (+ maintains visual, I assume) lock? Is there a way to distinguish the different types of lock in the ACMI (be it in BMS or Tacview)?
Can AI pilots have a RADAR lock on target 1, and a visual lock on target 2 simultaneously, or a second RADAR lock in TTS for ARH missiles? If so, will both show in ACMI? (don’t think so, but since we’re on the topic, confirmation would be nice )All that being said though, the video above does show some instances where the MiG-23 has his belly directly towards his target (i.e. me), in which case he should have neither a visual or a RADAR lock. That still seems fishy to me?

17:45:20 is the time on the right side of time display? Because I can see only F-16 lock in that time not radar lock backwards. At 17:10 I can see the lock backward.

In-game time, shown left top in Tacview.
That F-16 he has locked behind him is 18NM away.

To me UTC shows at 08:55:17 at the beginning and end of track is 10:02:15. I have no idea why. Maybe tacview use the system clock.

Alright, I was under the impression it showed in-game time there, as it has always coincided with that for me… Mine starts at 16:55:17, and ends at 18:02:15. Could be system clock, but since Hungary and Belgium are both in the same time zone, that is a bit odd. Not sure why either… Will reference track time for future references.
This particular instance is at +00:50:00.

I have the same question about it.
Sometimes i already splashed the bandit, but the bandit’s radar signal still persisted in the RWR for a while.
That usually took place in the multi-players online campaign. -
