You know, with that kind of quality, this model may motivate BMS team to code proper F-16A avionics for it. It’s wonderful.
Well, either that, or it’ll motivate me to dig up some old FF6 code and start experimenting…
ohohoh m8, That’ll be sweet!

So i’ve been making the next LV4 Venezuelan Viper Skin And i currently putting a lot of effort on the blending and the overall paint look, because, even with the best lighting there’s not perfect coat of paint, and since these vipers are old, i added a little bit of aging and lost of original colors, Could be seen in the image if you look hard enough:

The REO Display (Radar / Electro-Optical) displayed Radar modes as well as Optical display ( e.g. AGM-65/ GBU-8 )

Was looking through this thread just now, try to find if you mentioned this: Are you using a 3D printer for these parts? If so, is it working well, and what brand/model? Been looking to get into making some things like this, but assumed a decent 3D printer would be key gear…
-
Hoover, thats not going to be a homecockpit, its the plan to have a virtual F16A in BMS

hehehe sorry to disappoint you pal, but this is a virtual cockpit for bms, the house image is actually a HDR file to give lighting to the models, though, if you want to find some pieces, check here:http://www.hempstick.org/The_Official_Hempstick_Site/Welcome.html

I had no idea the F-16A was still flying, but she is, this is an F-16A Block 15 Aggressor based at TopGun NAS Fallon!

Yup, USN have some of the oldest flying Vipers.

The USN started flying them from 2002 - the airframes were built in the late 80s for Pakistan but embargoed and stored.
Venezuela on the other hand have been flying Block 15s since the 1980s…which sounds a long time but most (all?) of the current F-15C USAF airframes were 1980s built as well.

lmfao!! Yea, the out of focus IRL-like background definitely caused my confusion. Virtual lighting and shadows on 3D modeling are getting pretty damn good, I’m surprised. Thanks for the reply!

yep, '15 does still fly, the money the navy would need to improve/upgrade to newer models is quite expensive, Anyhow, the navy would barely use the f-16 in a battle scenario.

Hello!, I’m in great need of photos regarding the ACES II ejection seat, I know you can find photos on google but i really to have some kind of reference regarding the inclination and overall length of the seat, something like this:
thanks beforehand.Cheers,
Rypley.
-
What I know by heart is the width of the seat.
The two sideconsoles of the cockpit are a bit more than 52cm apart. The seat is 52cm wide.
I can measure my replica for the overall dimensions or maybe someone with a real seat can jump in. -
This has always been a good source for many of us with respect to angles etc.

btw, any change of a higher res pic?I personally don’t have one. That was just from a google search. But over the years I have seen this photo come up many many times. So with some limited searching you should be able to find a better resolution version?
