[Guide] How to rationalize the Dynamic Campaign engine

The concept is relevant to 4.34 as well.

So for someone that hasn’t done any modding before, would you say it’s difficult or pretty straightforward ?
-
In that case, it would be safer to not alter anything

HI all.
Regarding this topic i would like to refresh it with my recent experience (yesterda 12 Nov 2022). BMS 4.36 U3.
I was flying in Korea Campaign and the campaign engine at first day show a mission OCA String 300 mn from the base and without any escort or sead fly to support.
In this case to avoide this suicide mission (very few chance to come back safe…) it could be useful the parameter suggested on the first topic content? Even if i don’t see anymore mission.dat but a lot of files missionData_00,dat; MissionData01.dat and so on.
Thanks for any hint.
Kind regards

This was an old post, not really sure any of it is relevant to 4.36.3. The easiest way (IMO) to deal with suicide missions is to change the steerpoints/timing/etc. to something that makes sense…

@Icer thanks.
OK. Just thinking if there is a way to improve on this aspect the automatic generation. Not human fly will be going to dead anyway
