Arty, dear mate, my apologies for what happened… please tell me what should I do, then.
With best regards.

No need to apologise Jackal. U didn’t do this on purpose. Those processes some times get fubared In the way. I had the same with emf tiles.
But as deejay says I better finish my outstanding issues and then advance to the new ones.
Besides that is a good start (auto process stock tiles and textures) and a good point or proof of concept in case someone wants to finish it.
I’ll write down how easy it was to pinpoint dxt files so to convert the final files to their respective dxt format.

Thanks for understanding, mate.
Thanks to you I began to learn more on the ‘real’ thing, and I was at my very first experience… so, I just can’t await to learn even more about this topic.
Have you ever seen, who knows what should I do in future… better, for sure.
It has been a real pleasure being ‘in’ with you, in any case.
With best regards.

How to find and group textures based on their DXT format.
Use xnview. it’s free get it from here:
https://www.xnview.com/en/xnview/get the xnview classic. there must be and a portable (no install) version in the internet.
Run it and browse to your dds texture folder.
select all the textures (ctrl+A).
From menu->Create->File Listing->Make your selections and tick CSV format.->OK
name the file and save it.
In excel or open office import the csv file with semicolon separator.
In excel->Data->Get External Data->from text->select the file->Import->Delimited->My data has headers.->Next->Semicolon->Next->Finish->OKNow you have 5 columns in excel.
first one is the filename and Last one is the DXT version.
You can filter those.
Select all cells that contain data (ctrl+a)
And in Data Tab select Filter. Now filter let’s say for DXT1 and apply the filter. Select all filenames in the first column. click and drag with mouse OR click on the A2 cell and then ctrl+shift+down arrow.
right click and select copy.
Open notepad and right click select paste.
erase last empty line.
Save as DXT1.txt in the same folder where the dds files are.
In this folder create a folder named DXT1.
Now open command line in the same folder where the dds and the txt file are.
If u go at that folder via file explorer shift+right click and select open command line window here.
then run the command:FOR /F “delims=” %N in (DXT1.txt) do COPY “%N” DXT1
This command will create a copy of the dds files in the list from the dds folder to the DXT1 folder. Now you have all DXT1 dds files in that folder. Be careful with this command as it is it takes for granted that all files and folders are in the same path. If you have files lists and folders in different paths you must alter the command.
Do the same for the rest like DXT3 and DXT5 and whatever version you have. In the above if u go for DXT3 replace DXT1 with DXT3.
easy peasy…
Have fun with it.Now I’m on a brake on the project back to the BMS wind turbine’s…
Dee-Jay the blades are killing me. when unrwaping it get’s fubared. I’ll redo as one blade unwraped is ok. The other 2 spit seems all over the place. So back to model no1.
the super funny psychotic part is that those 2 are a clone of the one that works ok. -
