TM Cougar + CH Pro Pedals …. how to map toe brakes?
-
I recently picked a set of CH Pro Pedals with gameport connector (so not the USB version) to replace my TM RCS pedals, as the latter has no toe brakes and I also prefer the more compact nature of the CH Pro Pedals.
Anyway, I’ve connected the CH Pro Pedals to my TM Cougar and calibrated everything in CCP and the pedals themselves work just fine.
I am aware of the 8 axis limitation per DirectX device in Windows which why the toe brake axis won’t work. However is it possible to map the toe brakes to a button press (so it wouldn’t consume an axis) and if so, how?
I’ve been googling a bit and I do find indications that it is possible through the CH Control Manager software and a bit of scripting. But the download button is greyed out, possibly because it’s connected through my Cougar?Does anyone have a set of CH Pro Pedals (analogue/gameport) that they are using with the TM Cougar and have toe brakes working somehow?

If you are using a Cougar throttle too then you can have either the microstick or toe brakes but not both. RUSBA might be the way to go here?

@Tazz You CH Propedals is rewired to Cougar view the 2 more axis from Toe Brakes?!
I have the same problem with you, i rewire my CH Propedals and add two more axis to CCP and have full axis there, but the widows dont see toe breaks.
Have some way to add two more axis two BMS see?
