Hey guys,
Just wanted to invite you to checking out my new You Tube channel “The Viper Simmer”. I’m hoping to bringing a new look to online BMS videos, as well as doing videos on cockpit building techniques and gear reviews. We have much more to come!

Hey there, thanks! Looking for an idea to integrate my ICP and thrustmaster MFD’s (no screen) into one panel, either something laser cut or 3D printed, or at worst just a piece of plywood with the 3 of them velcroed on, in order to keep everything from sliding all over the place. Any ideas on where to start?
Thanks!

Great job, Jody. I’ve subscribed and liked, as well, and FV#1 is in my favorites.

Hey guys,
I uploaded a review of the FSX DUAL-M. If you like to use a real flight helmet and/or headset this is the one to have!

@Marvin157th: your pit is just amazing! BTW what do you use for the creen?

Does someone actually produce that pit or is it DIY? Amazing…

I’m using a custom design 270 degree simpit.org screen. However, wait until my cockpit build part 6 video for more details. Save your money that screen was a ****ing nightmare and the customer service was absolute shit!!! I would not recommend them at all. Save your money and build one like so many have at a FRACTION of the cost for what I paid.

Well I guess back in the day that cockpit was built by Wright Patterson AFB. That cockpit was a DIY for sure, but there are some places that build cheaper turn key systems like Dogfight Boss or Viperwing for starters. My cockpit has cost me $111,400.30 to date. Yeah I was shocked to when I added up all my receipts! lol

111,400.30
Holy moly!!!
But on the other hand - it’s simply awesome, I WANT one too

Trust me… I never wanted to spend that much it just sort of happened over a 5 year period.

Crikey! Good job it wasn’t a D model you were building!

Ha ha ha at least double the price. Although that would have been so cool!

I loved the ramp start video! :munch:
I had no idea all those BITs were in the sim, even if they’re not all implemented in a functional way. It was neat to see you going through them! I need to start drilling down on those tests. They’re probably in the BMS documentation, I’ve just not looked hard enough.
Lots of good opportunities to learn in this video. All kinds of cool stuff about how a pilot would interact with their ground crew, etc… Good examples of comms with Ground, Tower, etc…
Fun! I really like your videos, it’s so great to imagine having a simpit like that and really mastering the aircraft.
