Has this been fixed with 4.35?

No, you have to correct the trigger file by yourself.

…about little too late now , but if you guys were checking original Falcon4 /.tri files , you could have get the answer much sooner
Events in BMS are??? (could be) still scripted and backed up with the code in someways, since it is F4 legacy, but could be re-scripted to your needs, eg another theater.
Here’s original .tri with all assigned events and their end-codes.
Enjoy.
!! !Don’t try to use this file in BMS … just read it. !!!

In 4.35, the trigger files structure are different comparing the 4.34 ones. And some fixs were also applied
So i recommend to not use this file in 4.35

Aaaah… Noo, Badboy.
I didn’t mean for anyone to USE the file in BMS … but to SEE INSIDE for the events numbers and their respectful movies and end-codes.
… since they haven’t changed… yet :mrgreen:And it is NOT from 4.34 then from ORIGINAL MPS Falcon 4 !! (so , pure original) -wink
Just a “README” guide.
Kids. Don’t try to use this file in BMS … … just read it.
Cheers

It is still my understanding the campaign ending trigger events should be #s 14 through 17, not 13 through16.

<p>I checked and found out that the trigger files for the KTO and Balkans theaters still suffer the “stalemate instead of win” issue.<br />I played a little bit and it seems to me that what matters is the code used in the END_GAME command.<br /><br />#END_GAME 14 is a win for the reds - better: player lost the game<br />#END_GAME 17 is a win for the blues - better: player won the game<br /><br />any other code is a tie- I don’t know if codes handled differently by the code, but it doesn’t seem so.<br /><br />So there should be no need to change the number of the events, just the code in the #END_GAME command.<br /><br />And if you are playing on the red side, using #END_GAME 17 when the red side wins and #END_GAME 14 when the blue side wins should record a success or failure in the logbook as expected.<br /><br />A confirmation would be appreciated.<br /><br />Regards.</p>

<p>@pirgia Did you check the link just above? If you can’t have access to it, did you search the title in these forums? And if you have, did you find that? <br /><a href=“https://forum.falcon-bms.com/post/19594” target=“_blank”>https://forum.falcon-bms.com/post/19594</a></p>

<p>Yes, I did.<br />But what I am trying to express is that there seems to be no correlation between the event number and the success or failure of the campaign.<br />No matter the code in the DO_EVENT command, END_GAME 14 is a player’s failure, END_GAME 17 is a player’s success; any other code is a tie.<br /><br />This is the way I changed the last event in Balkan’s save0.tri file (using the original END_GAME 24 gives a tie):<br /><br />//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////<br />// Event #24<br />// NATO wins<br />// Serbian forces pushed back to their borders -> Control ALL of: Zagreb, Zadar, Banja Luka, Split,<br />// Mostar, Tuzla, Osijek, Sarajevo, Bihac, Gornji Vakuf<br />////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// <br />#IF_CONTROLLED 2 AND 393 330 3788 3422 347 266 2006 2120 289 426<br /> #PLAY_MOVIE 116<br /> #DO_EVENT 24<br /> #END_GAME 17<br /> #DO_MONOLOG Serbian forces pushed back to their borders -> END GAME<br />#ENDIF<br /><br /></p>
