Not exactly what you have been looking for in respect to the Lavi, but IDF has indeed applied many interesting SEAD/DEAD innovative ideas (no HARM though): Purple Punch based on the AGM-78 launched by the Keres; the Marquise missile, which was a Gabriel missile variant; the Kilshon missile…AGM-45 with a booster, and many more ground based DEAD/SEAD missiles.

@arabianjules just wait the next release of ITO ! Integration of a new aircraft is difficult and I am not sure It’s even possible to make a setup for it…

Yea
You should wait for ITO indeed -
Hi, i am using BMS 4.36.1, When i install the 4.1 version, I do not have the landing gear in 3d world???
-
Hello !
Hi ! Did you replaced both OFM and AFM file ?
Also, It shouldn’t have an impact but it is designed for 4.36.3
Regards,
Radium

@Radium
Yes, I did. Model looks great, but no gear…
I wil try today with bms latest update. Stay tuned. -
Okay, it works in 36.3…only no ladder.
When I look with lod viewer i see that, version 4.1, Model1.lod, Model2.lod and model3.lod has a ladder, but no ladder on model0.lod
model0.lod
Model1.lod

Hello everyone,
I believed, v1.4 was the last one, but it wasn’t.
I was rightly reported a couple of bugs, so, I decided to make an additional build, with a little addition : chocks.
Updates with this v1.5 :
- Missing ladders update (now available on LODs 0 to 3, 4 being a most simple LOD)
- Addition of custom chocks
- slots 10 update on Lavi and wings models
I hope this one will be the very last one !
Cheers,
Radium

@Radium : GREAT!!!

Had to go down to Lod-03 to get it to convert to .dxm and it’s still way too cool (here thinking of using it for a temporary J-10 which I need more than an IAF a/c for most of my theaters/campaigns):
Loving the AB effects!

@parislord Hello,
why do you need to convert it into .dxm ?
it’s ok if you do it for yourself, however, please do not rip my models for further distribution

“rip”? Added to my install of FF for personal use (not having a lot of luck getting BMS to work well on my rig), I do not distribute anything. Had you not noticed how all my screenies of your F-104 had different racks/terrain/tiles?
If anyone knows how to integrate a .lod into FF6 w/o converting to .dxm, I would LOVE to know…

Ohh ok !
LOD format doesn’t work on FF6 ?
I just don’t want people to believe that my LOD3 is my standard !

@Radium: Correct, FF uses .DXM (don’t know why, started-out in .lod format then chg’d to .dxm, then back to .lod for BMS, go-figure) and the conversion util is LE v6.23, so not too recent, unfortunately. With some models, like the F-104, it’s not problem. More recent such as the F-CK-1D (but not the A), J-15/Su-33, J-20 and now the LAVI as well as some older .lods such as the MiG-25, MiG-21 and MiG-29 either will not convert at all or the fuselage mesh is too large/dense/etc. and will not convert leaving a .dxm of the nozzles, pilot, canopy, flaps, etc. In some cases, such as the F-CK-1D, this can be overcome by converting one of the lower detail .lods. For the F-CK-1D, for example, the -0.lod will not convert but the -1.lod converts, fine. If there is another workaround for this, I haven’t found it, yet. Nor have I figured-out the exact nature of the conflict as some models will convert but other very similar models will not. For example, the IAF A-4N converts fine, but the A-4H will not despite the N variant seemingly being apparently very similar.

BMS didn’t “got back to using LODs” but the move to DXM was never part of BMS (DXM was created by RV GFX Expert back then and integrated into FF) so BMS always used LODs (Well, at least until some point in the future…)
I don’t know why you are still trying to convert LODs to DXMs instead of using BMS and be done with it all. It’s one crazy hope to assume that anything is going to work considering the years that passed since DXM was created (We are talking about 2004-5 probably when planing for DXM started) I wonder that you manage to convert anything in 2022

@I-Hawk: “…went back to” in the chronological sense of current falcon from (my) the end-user’s point-of-view, of course… : P
