Middle East Theater 128 for 4.37
-
I found the solution: went also into
C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Add-On Mideast128\TerrData\TheaterDefinition
and deleted the 2 files with the “-fl” tag. Then deleted the line in the theater.lst file as you suggested and the falcoun lounge variant did not come back

Does the real Ras Mishab have a dedicated taxi line?

it doesn’t look like it but there are these divert from runway taxi lanes at both ends
-
Hi @CloudWallace1981 . You are right: even when you delete the line as suggested below, the theater Mideast (Falcon Lounge) is showing up again in the list of selectable theaters. Above the deletion of that line, I have also deleted the two files “Mideast128-fl.tdf” and “Mideast128.tga” from the folder C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Add-On Mideast128\TerrData\TheaterDefinition and the Mideast (Falcon Lounge) doesn’t show up anymore.

This is not a dedicated taxi line, this is a small turnaround area at the ends of the runway.
In the theater now, Ras Mishab is also working, taxiing before takeoff takes place on the main lane.
-
for Ras Mishab (OERM ), turnarround lanes at both ends are missing.
but I think it is a small missing detail, there are more important things like the absence of lights in some airports.
I know it’s stated in some post that several airports don’t have approach and runway lights because they are WIP.
but, in any case, OERM is equiped with RWY edge LGT,
RWY End LGT, PAPI VASIS
I don’t know if this aerodrome is operative now
more details for KAS airports in the AIP tab in the link below,
https://sans.azurewebsites.net/Documents/2018-10-11-AIRAC/html/index-en-SA.html
there are some KAS’s charts to make a EFB for Middle east, it’s not up to date thoughand thanks for this incredible theater, i am enjoying it a lot

I am curious. Is it by design there is no tone for the AIM-54 phoenix on the RWR?

Yes. That was new AIM-54S(ilent) version produced for Iranian Tomcats, … they would even include it in Top Gun II , but Iran said NO, for copyright reasons… so… it is only available in selected theaters…

What tone do you need?
Phoenix has his own personal tone. (index: 166 “Twi\phoenix.ogg”) On the video below.
And he is different from amraam. (index: 165 “Twi\amraam.ogg”) -
@SpbGoro I don’t recall hearing anything when it’s the Phoenix and so far the only indication I have had that one was in flight was the icon on the RWR.

@SpbGoro Just wanted to mention, the Lantirn Pods aren’t working with Block 25 F-16’s, is this a bug, or by design? Thanks!

More specifically, the LANTIRN was added through the editor and works properly in other theaters using the same process, like Korea and Balkans. But in Mideast, when the TGP is mounted the MFD only displays “TGP OFF”
-
Sorry, scratch that, I tested it on a few airframes and it looks like everyone below Block 50 cannot use the TGP in the campaign. I have a lantirn equipped and it stil shows TGP Off

Hello. Yes, it was intended to be in line with the ODS campaign.
Lantrin and other containers carry Block 40 and above variants.
If anything, there are Block 40s in the ODS campaign, you can choose them for yourself, they start from the Al Minhad base in the United Arab Emirates. 421st TFS/388th TFW -
@SpbGoro Awesome, thanks so much for clarifying. It would be cool if the other BMS theatres did this as well, seeing as it’s a little detail I wasn’t aware of before.
