BMS-Technical-Manual.pdf
ver. 4.37.2
p. 97in the section “Gamepad HOTAS Functions” there are multiple inconsistencies between the documentation and the game.
- All four callbacks for SimAltHotasXray and SimAltHotasYankey under the column “NO SHIFT” and “LB (TMS SHIFT)” are the wrong way around. ( eg. NWS is actually controlled by X without needing the LB modifier. similarily, the toggle “NAV->DGFT->MRM->AG->NAV” is actually controlled with LB+X).
- The callback “SPD BRK OPEN” and “SPD BRK RET” should fall under the column “LB & RB” and in the row “SimAltHotasAlpha” and “SimAltHotasBravo”. As they are actually controlled by RB+RB+A/B in the game.
It involves other cells in the table. But I am very new to BMS only started a few days ago. So I am not able to verify all the other functions such as IFF yet. I would encourage someone with better understanding of the F-16’s HOTAS logic to look into these inconsistencies.

@LorikEolmin Missions 1-3 are also meant to be played continously starting from Mission 1, therefore the plan should be exactly the same.

Then it’s not a doc problem, it’s a TE problem.
