I don’t find it realistic in these shots…

such pictures require a fixed point on the ground to work. A fast moving subject on a fixed background and a rather slow shutter speed - which is a challenge for the photographer to keep the subject crisp.
therefore, none of the picture you made are valid candidates for the blurred background because none of them are taken from a fixed ground point.if you take the one with the ship at anchor for instance, there is no way you can have the ship blurred and the aircraft crisp at the same time because the ship is too far away on the picture, therefore relative motion of the ship while you move the camera laterally to take the picture is not long enough.
Beside, you would be in another aircraft flying formation with the F-16 and that would negate the need for a lateral motion of the camera as the F-16 would not move in regard to the camera position.
Therefore, the background wouldn’t be blurred because of motion but would be (just a bit) because of apertureimho, i find them quite unrealistic as well.
but hey, tastes is a personal thing -
While I agree with you on principal, I disagree in that you would not get motion blur from a second plane taking the pic.
Flying in a second plane would still cause the background motion blur due to the background moving relative to the subject plane.

Only at very low level. The angular rate high up isn’t enough. It does make cool screenshot though, and may improve sense of speed. Good look spotting ground troops though ha.

Only at very low level, I’d think? . The angular rate high up isn’t enough. It does make cool screenshot though, and may improve sense of speed. Good look spotting ground troops though ha.

yep, the further the subject is from the background, the less blur you’ll have

It’s simply a discussion about what the human eye can see and what a camera lens can see. Eyes and brain normally cannot experience that blur effect as in the pics, in order to experience this you should be flying low, fast, and eyes should be unfocused and steadily looking at angles closely to 90deg relative to the motion axis, while this behavior/feature is always there for cameras.

Our Human Peripheral vision……not easily simulated in today’s world of flat screens and DX9.

I guess motion blur in a game will be applied related to angular rate so just tuning the value works like tuning shutter speed.

This remind me I should remove Laser pods from 2000N, they are not wired for…
