MP discrepancies between players ?

3x800 bytes makes 2400bytes so your server BW should be least that plus more for ivc …

We were 2 clients and a client/server.

Oh, sorry
Are ports open?
Maybe you should try bit more for clients , say BW 1000?
-
BW settings far too low
-
Really ?
I did read on the forum (or C6 perhaps) that 500 was a minimum.
What’s the value that is, for you, the minimum to be ok ?
-
As host I’m setting BW at 7000. As client, no less than 1024. My up/down specs. are very similar to yours.

There’s an extensive debate on this matter ongoing here, it seems that 1024 or 2048 gives good results for the majority of the people.

Thank you for the feedback.
Anyway, it would be useful, if the MP code drops objects on purpose, to :
- Inform the clients (message on screen ?)
- Giving priorities : losing wingmen is not normal, the MP code should drop nearly everything before dropping other human (or same package IAs) pilots from the player’s bubble !
A priority is probably given to the code, but it obviously doesn’t work as it should. And if 800 is that much too low to allow the MP code to even react correctly, you should consider setting a low limit to allow a MP connection ?

500-800 is good for small TE’s so no need to limit

Small Te’s like few targets or like few clients?
