Nevada-Fallon Test Range 4.33
-
Still doing some research. I was able to get the PMC campaign into 4.33 and fly around a bit.
I understand what Lawndart was saying more now. The reason this theater is so repeative is the sheer size of the land. If you look at the theaters that work best they all have large bodies of water that take up 30-40% of the map. This allows you to have less repeative tiles on the land.
Scale of the map will be the biggest thing to determine.
Ripper I think I want you to come over to my TS and have a chat about what you are up against in this theater I would love to help you or at least donate some of my work but I have to check with a colleague first as we did a joint effort on this.
I will PM you the 27th TS info you can let me know when works for you
-
Thank you for the offer! I have replied to the PM.

There is a way to have custom airbases in this theater as well…
-
I manage to port the 4.32 theater but i get the “trees in the airbases problem” unfortunately im not home to take screenshots. and also the campaigns doesn’t work… I get in the campaign but no flights fraged by ATO…
-
but i get the “trees in the airbases problem”
Either tile set “type” is wrong (preferable no Thin_Forest, no Thick_Forest or Brush) @ABs tiles, or trees were planted there. You can still “exclude” trees by drawing “Plains” circles.

Polak thanks for the advice when i get back home ill check it, “brush” its the only thing i didnt change! I will come back with the results….

Thanks for sharing, Toro, and… expecting it soon in BMS, right?
With best regards,

ok we see beautiful scenery, nice images but is this what simulator is all about? CGI and effects? In the DCS they don’t learn much. They just fly and thats it.
-
Told this respectfully for all the others devs.’ hard work, but the same,
I’m with mlazos.
+1!Hello, Manos. May I ask how is going with your hard work?
Not intended to be indiscreet, but just because I’m as interested in this theather as you (and a lot of guys here too) indeed are, and so…With best regards,
-
Do not see what’s the point in quoting DCS Nevada here which is clearly advanced and totally illusorically to be expected in BMS.
Falcon is Falcon and DCS is DCS.
-
+1, Tom.
“If you (plural person!) like it told clear, you got it clear”.
With best regards,
-
Lol…;)
-
You indeed know what I mean, brother
Well, back again with the everyday question: any news/updates about the developing process?
All of you (plural person again ) know well that I care in a particular way to this theather, so please don’t be worried. With best regards,
-
For wait more time the theater….;)
-
…Growlers…Fly Navy!
-
Back to this topic: who knows if would there be some news about the creation of the new Nevada theather for BMS 4.33…
With best regards,
-
I hate to report that this is pretty much dead in the water. I spent 2 months or so researching and testing everything I could find. But the whole process has been disheartening and downright depressing. Theater creation in BMS is far beyond my ability. And without clear (up to date) instructions it is really hard to piece it together. I have also come to the conclusion that it really does that a group of people working together to do something of this scale. (Which is why the best theaters are built by teams, not to mention BMS itself being a team effort.)
I hate to say it, but the DCS Nevada has filled my Nevada itch so far. I would love to fly the Viper of BMS 4.33 in Nevada but that doesn’t work at the moment.
Maybe in the future with the new work between BMS and the new F4 owners we might see some changes in theater creation.
