SweetFX for BMS

Hi,
Please read this post in this thread regarding how to check :Happy new year
i have just had to install an nvidea gt240 because of my amd not working properly (sent back to Amd) In Amd i found a FPS drop using swtfx using Nvidea there was a FPS increase but AA was not as good>

I just posted in SoftTH orum for this issue let’s see what will happen…

How many are we with this issue?
I have the same issue… would love to get this working with SoftTH. I’ve tried a couple of things, but so far nothing has worked.
-
Thanks Ron and all contributors. I tried it very quickly with Israel theater and in Nvidia 3Dsurround and it works and I like it. 2 days ago I finished to install it for FSX and I’m also delighted.

Yes it does. The solution is a few posts back:
Also can be found in my Arty’s Hot List.

Amazing! Thanks

Which sweetfx dll am i to edit to get it working with softth?
Thanks for your help.

d3d9.dll
-
Thanks for the reply… What hex editor do you use?
-
iirc hexedit. do a google search and u will find plenty.
-
Thanks I’ll take a look this evening
-
Is “prettyscreenshot” (no external labels in output file) possible with SweetFX?
-
Freaking awesome gents! I never cease to be amazed at this community
Win7 64-bit & adjusted Ron’s settings as follows:
#define USE_SMAA_ANTIALIASING 1 //[0 or 1] SMAA Anti-aliasing : Smoothens jagged lines.
#define USE_LUMASHARPEN 0 //[0 or 1] LumaSharpen : Also sharpens the antialiased edges which makes them less smooth - I’m working on fixing that.
#define USE_BLOOM 0 //[0 or 1] Bloom : Makes bright lights bleed their light into their surroundings (relatively high performance cost)
#define USE_HDR 0 //[0 or 1] HDR : Not actual HDR - It just tries to mimic an HDR look (relatively high performance cost)
#define USE_TECHNICOLOR 1 //[0 or 1] TECHNICOLOR : Attempts to mimic the look of an old movie using the Technicolor three-strip color process (Techicolor Process 4)
#define USE_DPX 1 //[0 or 1] Cineon DPX : Should make the image look like it’s been converted to DXP Cineon - basically it’s another movie-like look similar to technicolor.
#define USE_LIFTGAMMAGAIN 0 //[0 or 1] Lift Gamma Gain : Adjust brightness and color of shadows, midtones and highlights (avoids clipping)
#define USE_TONEMAP 0 //[0 or 1] Tonemap : Adjust gamma, exposure, saturation, bleach and defog. (may cause clipping)
#define USE_VIBRANCE 1 //[0 or 1] Vibrance : Intelligently saturates (or desaturates if you use negative values) the pixels depending on their original saturation.
#define USE_CURVES 0 //[0 or 1] Curves : Contrast adjustments using S-curves.
#define USE_SEPIA 0 //[0 or 1] Sepia : Sepia tones the image.
#define USE_VIGNETTE 0 //[0 or 1] Vignette : Darkens the edges of the image to make it look more like it was shot with a camera lens. May cause banding artifacts.
#define USE_DITHER 1 //[0 or 1] Dither : Applies dithering to simulate more colors than your monitor can display. This lessens banding artifacts (mostly caused by Vignette)
#define USE_SPLITSCREEN 0 //[0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode.What more can I say, WOW! Turn on SweetFX for a vibrant sunny day - turn off SweetFX for a cold day of war!
Thanks again!!!

Has anyone got this working with Eyefinity 3 screens ? If so, I may give it another try. Love the screen shots!

Which values must I change into SweetFX.cfg in order the horizon not to be so white and bright?
Also I lose HUD text in the horizon.

How’d you get it to work?
Search for SweetFX tutorial on youtube, theres plenty!
You might also want to check out the SweetFX configurator.

Anyone got their shaders working on ATI with Linux/Wine?
I’m hacking away at Wine’s GLSL implementation and will share my findings if it starts working.
Edit: Works now, sort of. Except I can’t seem to get rid of ATI driver crashing.
My settings:
