EFB 4.33 „OPEN“ for all systems

My intuitive and easy manageable new E(lectronic) F(light) B(ag) is a somewhat different kind of application than the one already available für Android mobile phones.

It is based on Microsoft PowerPoint and „runs“ on all devices which will be able to play PowerPoint presentations – either directly via MS office or through a powerpoint viewer from different sources / apps.

So go ahead and use your old PC, Mac, laptop or tablet (IPAD or ANDROID) aside of your cockpit and have almost all documents and charts, procedures and additional information available at a quick touch of your finger or a fast click of your mouse….

The EFB will be updated – current version is 2.93

The .pptx itself is, however, password secured to protect writing but of course you can open and „run“ it as a stand alone application in a write-protected mode.

All I’m asking is: please send me a note if you find something worth for updating, adding, correcting…

Hey

next update of EFB 4.33-OPEN is available (use link for google drive on #1 - page 1 - it’s updated!)

It’s now vers 2.94

I’ve added a button as “quickjump” to the EMERGENCY MAIN PAGE on every chart so you will be able to reach the EM main page with just one tip of your finger / or click of your mouse out of all charts !
In addition I changed the seq of the FLIR / TFR (LANTIRN operation) in the Avionics Checklist due to warm up time requirements and combined those 3 pages (as there should be no way of operating them seperately)

If anybody has some constructive suggestions of what should be added - please post a reply

Hey guys,

thanks for all the positive comments on this page for “my product” - the EFB open (KOREA only) for all tablets…

Sadly I have to announce that it will not be continued or even extended in this version because in the meantime I changed a couple of charts to fit them to the needs of the VFW I am flying with
Those changes might be tiny and negligible but they present a difference between the published charts coming together with the BMS installation and my EFB

It would be inappropriate and also disturbing to have a big community working with different charts …

I hereby would like to stress that I do appreciate the outstanding work of all member who were involved in developing the charts included in the installation files of BMS - just to name REDDOG and NIKOS as being two of them !

I might :rolleyes: end up and renew the existing one to a PDF file - giving all you guys the opportunity to run this EFB on IPad, Android and PC monitor in either landscape or portrait mode with no need to have PowerPoint installed (just a common PDF reader) - this is what I found out lately and so I changed the whole layout accordingly…

But to update all those files at first for my VFW and then in addition separately for the whole BMS community (in a slightly different way) is just way beyond my “timeframe” possibilities !
