Hi guys. I want to use a second monitor to extract all the Center Console in 1:1 scale. How many “big” it would be? Thank you

Hi FD
Got problems when using YAME in combination with Andre´s Jetseat. (SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS update 1.1.1.49)
When entering the 3D world YAME crashes imstantly.Hi, I had the same issue (ref my message in Andrés topic), seems when you add Simshaker shortcut to Yame’s run list, it will point to a specific version of that software and starts acting weird when his software gets updated. So first try to delete the item from Yame, run simshaker standalone and make sure it’s updated to the latest version (indeed 1.1.1.49) and then re-add the simshaker back to yame run list.
That worked for me. Now I have no issues at all. -

Hi, I’m not sure I understand your question.
I can look up the approximate measurements from the center pedestal gauges if you want. Then it depends on your screen size & set resolution how big they will be in pixels. -

I try to explain better. I want to extract the center console into a second monitor. I want that the size of the instruments will be 1:1 as the real ones and that they are located in the right place and distance one each other. I believe that there’s already one profile you made into YAME for center console, am i right? So i need to know how many inches would be the monitor i need.

There are multiple layouts in the default install, some center pedestal versions are for analog block 50, some older block with needle VVI instead of tape VVI, some newer with EHSI instead of HSI, and then there’s the CP60 version of the pedestal.
They are all made for a screen of 1920x1080 and work best on a 27" screen with that resolution.Screen size in inches is the diagonal, so that doesn’t guarantee a certain diagonal size will match the dimensions you really need. For example my 27" has 60x35cm usable screen estate. But for my real pit I’m using a much simpeler 10.5" on 800x600 resolution placed vertically. So it all depends on the screen resolution + real dimensions.
I don’t have the exact measurements on me right now. Also, there’s a difference between the size of the inside part of the gauge, or with the outside part (as it is shown in YAME). I’m sure people on this forum, and certainly on Viperpits.org can provide close to real measurements for this.

Thank you for your answers! I like the 10,5" solution. Maybe i can take 3 of them and use it to cover the area i want. Thank you again

Hi FD,
i never had the Simshaker running from inside YAME, it runs always standalone. Strange……Strange, I don’t know the answer then I’m afraid. I had is issues with the previous version of Simshaker with BMS, after update it also needed a pc reboot and then the issue was gone.

Do not know how, but after updating to the latest Radeon drivers, switching on and off the RTT texture flag, an rebooting several times, i got it running.
But no idea whats the reason therefore. Core point, it´s runnig -
I’m getting this msg during installation " api-ms-win-crt-math-l1-1-0.dll missing" and the setup fails…I’m running Win8.1x64 , C++ x64 installed
Any ideas?Edit: Solved by reinstalling C++ 2015

Single pc.Several people have made that observation and reported everything worked fine after a reboot (or 2 reboots :D). Also make sure you still have BMS path/keyfile/DTC set correctly and have 3Dhook active, or RTTtexture set to 1 in bms config is not using 3D hook; and set BMS for extraction and not using server/networked.

ok test1
Installed the 1.1.0 over 1.0.0Checked the path’s and bms conf
Configged Yame
2 times pc reboot
No mfd’s
–-----------------------------------------------------------------
server offClient only
MFD’s on
Windows specified
Now i’ll test with hook on

In the shots above you are NOT using hook extraction, so in your falcon bms.cfg file you must enable RTT extraction. If you want YAME to hook texture extraction then you don’t need to set that configuration.

Test 2 with hook on
No joy

Hi Roccio
In test 1 i didnt use hook and RTT was enabledIn test 2 i think i used hook right ?
RTT disabled -

RTT disabledYes, please check that d3d9.dll is in your <falcon base=“” path=“”>\Bin\x64
and check also that yame_d3d.cfg has correct values.
Next release of YAME will solve many of those problems, I think we have simplified a bit.</falcon>

Thx in advanceWe do not recommend having your second monitor to the right of your main (bms) screen. When BMS changes resolution, it will move around all that is left & down of the 0/0 starting point of you main screen. Best is to set your secondary monitor to the left and/or top of the main screen in the windows arrangement.
If you have both monitors on 1280x768, and the second screen on top of the main screen, both aligned with the left border:
Main monitor top left is coordinate 0/0 (x/y). And bottom right is 1280/768.
Second monitor top left is then 0/-768 and bottom right is 1280/0.Leave BMS as is. In YAME, set the window settings to size 1280x768 and position 0 -768 without borders (border checkbox unset) and voila.

Thx for the reply, but my main issue is that both BMS and Yame are diplayed only in one monitor…How can i arrange them to display seperately?
I have main screen right-sec screen left
