YAME64 suite

@usafpga:
Great program. However, I’m having an issue getting the MFDs to show. Everything else is working as advertised, but the MFDs. The windows are there, but they show up in the sim.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Again, great program!
Thx for the compliments
Are you using v1.1 64 bit? Windows also 64bit?
Are you using texture or 3Dhook extraction for MFD?
Client only or via network? -

Client only or via network?Yes 1.1 64 bit, Windows 7 64 bit, cant remember if I have in textured or hook cuz I’m at work right now and can’t check!

Sorted! I input the wrong X Y values.

Great program, really like having the kneeboard on my 4th monitor!
Having an issue with the MFD’s using DX Hook though, actually just the left one. They are both displaying when editing the page and can be moved around etc.
Issue is the left one is not showing after starting Falcon BMS, the right one works fine. Can push the swap button on the right one and it will change to the FCR vice versa. Any ideas?
Everything else I have extracted is working great.
The question is why does it use so much CPU when you first open it? It’s hitting like 35% on CPU usage.Edit:
Set the page property to masked and see that both the MFD’s are rendering the problem is still there, blank Left MFD… -

The answer to my issue was on pg 22 (thanks jcenzano), SLI was causing the Left MFD not to render. :drink:

Good to know about sli giving issues. Will add that to the manual for newt release

I don’t know if everyone on an sli config is having the same issues.
On my case, it was solved changing the sli rendering option from AFR2 to SFR.
It could be good, as you say, to give sli users a heads up about possible issues and also workarounds.
I don’t know with the 4.33 versions, but AFR2 used to be a much smoother and more efficient rendering mode than AFR, which is the default one.

I checked the SLI modes after I read your earlier post.
AFR - Crappy FPS (not really sure why, have never tried it before)
AFR2 - Good FPS - No left MFD and RWR in YAME.
SFR- Good FPS - YAME rendering fine.Would be interested in what other people running SLI setups are seeing.

No worries there Focal. I wasn’t making this suggestion for a “realistic” profile. My current Helios profile displays the WDP kneeboard data on a separate monitor so I just thought it would be awesome to have the CPD on the center pedestal but still be able to show the moving map in a bigger scale on the 2nd touchscreen.

This is me not saying anything about the next update release

Still working on it
Just a little teaser. This is how my current setup looks like (27" second monitor) with a window background. Hint, not all of it is a background image, but some parts are YAME and clickable (and thus touchable with touchscreen)

Ctonck !! Just fell off my chair, on the ground with my broken jaw in my hand
Very very promising ! Cant’ waitJudy

OMG!!! Can’t wait for this!!Keep up the good work!!

Apart from the adding of touchable area’s, you all do realize the look of my screen can already be accomplished with the current public release, right?
It’s all just copy/paste and some photoshop tweaking of real pictures and placing YAME extractions, gauges & lights on top of it -
Just a preview of my next Helios profile and YAME…

… placing YAME extractions, gauges & lights on top of it
You mean placing the YAME stuff on top of a Helios profile? Does that work ? I’ve tried but my Helios profile always stays on top and I have to create transparent areas in order to see the YAME stuff.

I don’t use Helios.
It’s just a background image I made and added in YAME as window background. -

Which profile are you using, Judy? Take a look at my profile or Weepop’s and you’ll see our panels have cut-outs in order to see the gauges underneath. This has always been the case even before YAME. There’s no reason for YAME stuff to be “on top” of Helios.
Focal uses YAME to control stuff in the sim and thus places stuff “on top” of YAME, but we already have Helios for that.

No I don’t
I only have Yame extractions/gaages and a yame window background image. So nothing on top of it. (if you don’t count my hardware like an ICP and MFDs).
I have no touchscreen so I can’t even use Helios. I use BMS in windowed mode and my mouse for testing touch/click zones in Yame beta.
