Hey eagle-15
@eagle-15:hi guys
1. how can i set more than one targets in one steer point ?
You can use the RECON in the UI screen to do so.
2. i saw a video showing …. and air crafts hit 4 targets using jdam bobms in one pickle … can it be in falcon bms ?
Yes it is possible. But I think only the F-16I “SUFA” have this kind of capability. Refer to the “ITO Training Missions” pages 9-10. -

Hey eagle-15
No, you can drop multiple JDAM on multiple targets in one pass with any JDAM AC. But it’s not as simple as it was in 4.32 …. for each bomb, you need to select the steerpoint (or a target SPI?), pickle, then repeat for each bomb. Easily done, but not a single pickle.

I’m sorry but you are wrong. ….

I think my post was poorly worded, not wrong. I meant other JDAM capable AC that are NOT the SUFA can accomplish what that training missions shows (4 bombs, 4 targets, 1 pass), but to do so is a slight modification/update of the procedure in 4.32 that DID allow any JDAM AC to make drops with a single pickle.

You can use the RECON in the UI screen to do so.You cannot assign more than one targets per steerpoint.
Each assigned target must have its own dedicated steerpoint. -

When ITO is installed, it has a folder with theater specific documents in it. You can find it in there.

SOF, I’d be real interested in how you would do that. I don’t know about the SUFA mentioned. However, by assigning a steer point to each target, say for example 4 SAM sites in an area, you are telling the system to look at 4 specific pieces of ground. How can that be one steer point? You might be able to do it in the UI, but i don’t see how it would work in the jet.

All this does is replace the old target with the new target.
1 target per steerpoint. It doesn’t add multiple targets to the same steerpoint number.

I misunderstood
it was mistake. Sorry guys. -

All the “assign” button in the DTC editor dialog does is copy the Lat/Long/El values to the selected steerpoint number in the DTC. This will override the values for example taken from the flight plan. If you do it multiple times with multiple recon contacts on the same steerpoint number then only the last assignment survives.

hi
thnx … i did it and use one pickle to hit 4 targets … but why just in this threate ? -
It’s not the theater it’s the airplane. You put a F-16I or whatever in Italy or Korea and it does the same thing.

Once the carrot drops into DLZ
LOL, anybody wants a carrot drop feature? Maybe in future BMS we will be able to carry some carrots under pylons? ;-D
And just want to tell you that this feature (droppping ripple JDAM on different targets) works not only against pre planned threats but also for any other steerpoint (including markpoints) so you can do it with TGP markpoints!

can’t 4 target steerpoints be designated?
