Yeah I’ll just wait for you to finish, and ask for it then
Take your time bud.
Oh by the way, my first SEAD mission with your phantom was an outstanding success. One of my few successful phantom missions. Even got an AA kill with AIM 7! -

Soon the 1st Pack will be available. USAF and ESK will be the first ones to be released, second will be the Luftwaffe and th G got to work a bit the skins and they will be ready soon. Last package will be the IAF witch has the most work to be done in the skin and JASDF witch still has some work on the model it self (minor but essential details)
And is time to say that HAF-AUP and TuAF2020 will be available only in Ikaros (sorry guys) -
I’m looking for some tail numbers of 108th TFW New Jersey ANG i have 2 but different color scheme, AF-68375 with Euro 1 scheme and AF-68534 with Hill Gray. What i need is 4 in total either from one scheme or the other or even both
Also 131th TFW Missouri ANG (hill grey)
Thanks in advance!EDIT:After 2 hours of researching photos i found some. Most of the planes had SEA camo then Euro 1 and last the hill gray. I choose the hill gray for 1 skin at least Tail code NJ. Tail numbers: 68-375 , 68-413, 68-534, 68-533 more research will be done to see about the tiger in the nose section (if all the planes had it). The concept is that probably ill make 3 different era skins (i mentioned above). Vietnam (SEA camo and apropriate numbers) Cold war (EURO 1 camo and apropriate codes as well) and the one i said will be the first.

The NJ ANG F-4Es flew with several different tigers on the nose. There’s a “black outline only” variant of the one you have posted here - that was F-4E 68-0526.
Then there is a yellow tiger (outlined only) against a European One background for which I don’t have a serial just yet. There was also a outlined tiger head in reverse brown/green on F-4E 68-0527.
And there was a full-colour tigerhead with yellow, white, black and a red tongue which was on a Europe One forest background on F-4E 68-0392.And finally, the one you posted here is F-4E 68-0401. This particular aircraft had NJ on the tail, but no tail band at all (unlike all other variants which had red tail bans with white lettering).

Edit: on a side note, the 20th Fighter Squadron was a dedicated training squadron to train German Luftwaffe F-4F pilots. The planes were all German-owned, despite flying in USAF markings. The 20th FS flew with a mixture of F-4F and F-4E aircraft, the latter had been purposely purchased by the Luftwaffe for the US-based training squadron, since the orignal F-4F was a cut-down version of the F-4E anyway. The 20th FS was originally based at George AFB (using the GA tailcode) but moved to Holloman AFB in 1993. After moving to Holloman, the 20th started to receive ICE and ICE-II upgraded F-4Fs, with the final F-4E being withdrawn from service in 1997. The 20th FS was deactivated in December 2004, with the F-4Fs remaining in storage in the USA.

If i may provide some comments
dark grey is too blue
and if i remember right the tiger nose is painted in the same grey as the dark grey and is much largerMaybe these will help

In the real picture u are posted its not that much of a difference the color but i think i can at least fix the tiger a bit. the thing is that the plane isnt mapped flat and if i stretch too much the decals or in this the tiger it will start to disfigure and i dont want that. Also lets dont forget weathering and other stuff also angle of the picture taken etc. Hill gray in some light sircumstances it looks WAY TOO blue! I taken the colors with fs codes so thats the result. (If it was freshly painted at least)
-
That looks awesome. But indeed, that particular variant did not have any tail band markings whatsoever. At least 401 didn’t.

Again Tazz i didnt posted about 401 Seg did

Yeah Manos, agreed on the grey. what i usually do is use the FS code (in this case FS36118 ) and convert it to Hex codes and i always end up lightening it for scale effect
but even with that you usually end up with different grey. so in the end, it’s all a matter of perceptioncorrecting the tiger head indeed will be more visible and bring lots of added value imho
