Israel Theater Release

Tactical Reference info is cut off by the window; cannot read max. engagement height.
Jinro … If you want to contribute … Give me your e-mail I will send you the TAcRef Edito (or find it youself … Should not be too dificult) … You will be able to do that job

Guys Altitudes r not necessary at all. If u don’t return with dirt (soil) or mud on the fuselage then u r not doing good work or u will be just shoot down by those SA’s.
So set your Low Alt warning to 050 and do it like real man…Min. engagement height was 90 feet
As for Wiki, I noticed info on Wikipedia does not match info in BMS….speaking of SAMs, that is.
@Dee-Jay: PM sent

Late to the party but just wanted to say this looks fantastic and thanks for the hard work of the people who developed it.
Cheers,
Stonehouse -
I just flew my first campaign mission and it was awesome. No stutters whatsoever.
-
Make sure the comm volume is OK in the setup screen and in the cockpit. There should not be a difference from Korea in this regard. Can you post a video?
Engine sound the large may be caused by installed another theater.

Hello, couple quick things…finially get a working sp and real life gives me no time… damn… anyway still only day one 1600 hrs.
Looking good, havent touched any settings… set by hq and recommended settings in place.
I want to see if it ends ( im assuming it will end quickly ) As I’m in Beirut and damascas already. Then I want to try on ace settings with me in control as i usally do.
Noticed still getting strike missions on destroyed objects, no biggy, i just dont take those flights.
and junryah naval base needs turned 180.
So far likey likey…Edit- needs to be stronger and longer, but good so far.
-
The victory condition is to capture the central parts of Beirut and Damascus. Depending on the condition, it can take a while to troops reach the heart of the cities from the outskirts (because of the ground battles). Can you post a screenshot of the 2D map with battalions?

One thing I really enjoyed seeing in this new version was how the enemy ground forces reacted to my attacks. In the following picture you can see where my bombs fell on an armored column. As I made my attack run, they were lined up in a single row. When the bombs started falling they scattered like cockroaches after the light switch is turned on. I only scored two hits from 12 Mk-20’s. In the previous version (0.97) this was like shooting fish in a barrel. Now an attack like this will take better planning on my part and multiple attack runs to get a high kill count.

On cell, eyes slaming. Will try this weekend. Busy busy, sleep….

You’re in Beirut and Damascas on day one? How? I can’t even complete a CAS mission because of all the Syrian MiGs getting through my BARCAPs and Patriot batteries.

Have been flying BAI and Strike missions. The AI seems to handle the air threat quite well. My airfield never got hit so I was able to fly missions without hindrance. Just started a second campaign, so things might be different this time around.

What is your DCA slider set to? I left mine to default and the HQ only sends up 3 F-15 CAPs to the Lebanese border, which isn’t even close to enough and leaves the border on Syria wide open. I started a new campaign fragging my own DCAs and Sweeps to swat down their air force first.
I also noticed I cannot edit Syria’s PAK without it effecting Cyprus and another PAK, which might explain why the CAPs only went up to the Sur area.
-
Yeah but close. Wink wink

Your probably right on this. I didn’t mess w/ PAK’s or DCA on first campaign. Wanted to see how it ran on default first. I was surprised that it ended so quickly, but given that we both have had different outcomes I don’t expect that to happen every time. This is a “dynamic campaign” after all!

I don’t know if anyone has had this same problem, but if this happens to you check it out:
Situation:
After installation, I entered Falcon to change theaters. Upon switching, ITO was not in my theater list.Solution:
To circumvent this problem, look in your “Falcon BMS 4.32>Add-On Israel” folder. You should see a theater definitions folder. Move that into the terrdata folder in the same folder.
Now, all you have to do is go to “Falcon BMS 4.32>data>terrdata>theaterdefinition”, open up theater.lst as a notepad or wordpad and copy and paste this line into the bottom line of the wordpad:Add-On Israel/terrdata/theaterdefinition/Israel.tdf
For some reason it, the installer installed it wrong in the theater.lst for me. it had it as:
Add-On Israel/theaterdefinition/ITO.tdf
Not sure why but i hope this helps someone.

Version 0.991 released! Check first post for the links.
This is a small update patch that fixes an issue with the ATO which prevented OCA missions from being generated effectively against active airbases. In addition, the campaigns were improved, and several reported issues were fixed (thank you ).0.991 Patch

Moved objectives away from Ben Gurion and Nevatim airports.
Fixed miscellaneous theater strings.
Improved objective links in Egypt.
Corrected F-16A serial numbers.
Added F-16B to the TE template.
Updated documents. -
Great. I was just going to mention about very few oca’s, just no time.
Did make it past midnight though.
Now whether to finish or start a new campaign, this time on ace and adjust paks. What do u think.
Only time for a couple flights on weekends
