Korea Interactive navigation map released

Great addition and would make a great app for the iPad (a fully functional kneepad application)!
I noticed a bug with Suwon… all links from the Suwon info page point to Kadena information.

Hi RD,
it brings us to the real navigation flying closer & closer and replaced the 2 D Kneemap total. As far as I`m concerned
excellent work the perfect tool for a Navi freak like my.Thx 1000 times

Thanks and it’s perfect on my PDA for consulting. A flash version would be of great interest. Maybe if I have some spare time will give it a go.

Cool stuff, Thank’s Oliver.
Cheers,

Great job RD! Thanks 2000 times
I incorporated your website as a plug-in for the touch screen program http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/index.php.
Unfortunately there is no “Back” function so once I link down to an airport I cannot get back to the original Korean aeronautical chart. If there was a hyperlink back to http://www.combatsimchecklist.net/MAPKOREA/ on each page it would work great. I do want to create work for you. Maybe somehow I could fix it?
Thanks again.

Suwon is corrected.
BostonClipper,
Forgive my ignorance but what is touch buddy? The ultimate goal is to make an offline application for tablets with this, so I’m still looking at the best options to make it happen. I get a lot of help from guys here and I thank you all for that. The intercative map will certainly change and become better and better in the coming weeks, keep the ideas coming though.
The next big thing is to probably have the airports pages as overlays instead of new webpages, a back/close button will then be displayed…Many thanks to all for the comments

Red dog,
TouchBuddy is a free program that was developed to use a touch screens to interface with sims. It has tabs at the bottom of the screen to change functions/images.

TouchDown is a newer version with current on going development but fewer profiles.

Thank you very much, awesome int map indeed!

I would strongly recommend Helios instead of Touch buddy for anyone who isn’t running the touchscreen(s) on a networked PC.

Also free.

Thank you for the reference but I did not find a F-16 cockpit?

Thanks Red dog, this is really cool, the only other interactive map I remember which was kind of vaguely similar to this was one that someone made for Fallout 3 it was a flash map, you could use it offline by opening it with any browser and it had the locations of every place on it, dont know if flash would be practical for what you have here, probably a bit dated now.

Hey Reddog the Departure chart for Yechon is displaying the Choongwon departure chart.
-
Imagine this was accessible from within BMS…
-
Thanks Sting, it’s corrected

Why? Give me a good reason to change?
I have been using Touchbuddy networked for some time with existing profiles and with some profiles created be myself. I even managed to have a pda connected network for the ICP buttons aside to my touch screen.
It works very well and for example it is even used directly by FF (You can use it on same pc on second monitor without alt+tab). That should be a good improvement if also supported by newer BMS version so we could used it in same pc on second monitor.
My 2 cents: - Easy to configure, Easy to create new profiles or adapt existing ones.

don’t let this turn into a hardware vs other hardware battle gents …

I could be good have this tool in a EXE to offline mode with a posibility of be updated with a button or something like that.
