@jayb
Yep and tracking works surprisingly good plus you don´t need a cable to connect it top the PC. Although on longer sessions you have to connect it to a charger. But that’s nothing compared to the clunky cables of a HP Reverb or other non wireless headset.

No, Quest uses inside out tracking with internal cameras…

Solved: Cougar Throttle TUSBA - Unable to map COMMS SWITCH
I use the Cougar Throttle which is connected via TUSBA R2. Unfortunately, in the ALTERNATIVE LAUNCHER I can not map the function of the comms switch. The switch is recognized in the keymapping (DX2,DX3,DX4,DX5) but only the function “TQS: COMMS Switch down - VHF” is correctly assigned with DX2. UHF, IFF OUT and IFF IN are always assigned to DX1.
Does anyone have an idea?
Problem solved: I forgot to disable the COMMS OFF button in the Realsimulatur HID Device Tool under the TUSBA R2 section. This disables the comms switch center position DX1 button.
Why only “TQS: COMMS Switch down - VHF” is correctly assigned with DX2 even if DX1 is not disabled remains a mystery…

RE: [F4RegPath] A tool to edit/delete Falcon BMS registry entries
Unfortunately the program crashes after launch:
Falcon BMS was previously installed and removed with BMS uninstaller.

RE: SmoothTrack
Looks indeed promising - what I don´t get is why he doesn´t use his facetracking technology in conjunction with a simple webcam. Much easier to mount at line of sight and smaller footprint. No need for all this wireless IP stuff also.
Maybe because of licensing….

Did you try uninstalling and reinstall everything from scratch?

RE: Can’t seem to get mouselook to work
Do you have FreeTrack installed on your PC?
I can confirm that freetrack/opentrack interferes with mouselook as well the POV/HAT switch. I deleted opentrack and everything works as supposed….

RE: TQS Cursor double pot drifting: known fixes for this?
Can you post the part number written on your real radar cursors switch (if any)? If I remember correctly it was made by OTTO…
Maybe one could use the OTTO T5 switch to replace the faulty TM radar cursor. It´s a 4 way push button switch and lot less expensive than the transducer used in the original…

RE: Video Darkens after 30 seconds into game startup.
Download 3dmark free and run it - this Benchmark puts heavy load on your system. If the blackscreen occurs it´s not falcon related.

RE: Cougar Throttle question
Hi Dolphin, I just want to ask you regarding using your Cougar throttle with windows 10? I assume you use Win 10. But regardless, does all your buttons and controls work without dropping out on that Cougar throttle since you set it up by itself? Can you and or have you programmed all the buttons like in the pdf file from BMS where all the F16 HOTAS is laid out?
Do you like that better than getting by perhaps equivalent with a Warthog throttle?Yes, Win10 Professional, everything works flawlessly via BMS internal config. Just assign the multiple axis and buttons and you are ready to go. I prefer the Cougar over the Warthog throttle because of the immersion factor….

RE: Cougar Throttle question
Hi Dragon -
I went the Realsimulator TUSBA route to fly the Warthog stick and Cougar throttle. Works like a charm! But bear in mind that some pots of the cougar throttle might have some issues even with a mint Cougar simply due to the age of the device ( cursor drift of the radar stick, antenna pot spiking).
