All,
I want to thank everyone who replied. I appreciate it.
Just for added context. I have flown Falcon and its predecessors, on and off, since its release. Although now in my late 50’s I can still foundly remember waiting for the shop to open on the day it was released in the UK to buy my copy.
Let’s call it the “crossroads period” just post release of the code, when various “branches” and a whole bunch of hassle was required to just simply fly sort of drove me away somewhat. Looking back this probably coincided broadly with my transition to DCS I guess.
However, the work of the BMS team and the unification of versions, coupled with the new launcher and set up interface piqued my renewed interest!
To be honest, and I know we all love different aspects of our flight simulation, the ATC implementation has always been my “love” and nothing, simply nothing comes even close to the BMS experience.
In comparison the DCS ATC experience is weak at best, and incidentially not really improved with the carrier comms implementation either in my view.
Anyway, hopefully that explains my original question. I was curious because I can’t actually ever recall Gound ever giving me a time. Sure “hold”, “you are No x” but not a specific time and I was looking for a way to ensure It did. Probably about time here now to confess to not being a “ramp” starter but more a “Taxi” guy.
Also appreciate the replies re WDP. My query was more the 3D ground call rather than where to find the taxi or take off time in written form.
I’ve rambled enough but just to say thanks again!!
Regards,
Gary
