Sim Crash on landing
Hi, I recently change my Nvidia Geforce 9400GT to GTX-760-DC2-OC-2GB GDDR5 ,
befor I do that after instaling window 8.1 , I use win 7 and earlier setup to instal BMS , after instaling windows 8.1 , that setup didn’t worked and force me to download latest setup,
now I had instal the BMS and it works fine, but when I decide to land , at the time of touching runway it’s crash(in the time of this problem I had still Nvidia Geforce 9400GT). now I am chaned my graphic card to an excellent graphic that I can fly in high detail very smothly, but the landing problem still remain, when I touch the ground it crash.
I am going to upload crash file for dear hardworking support team. by the way I serach all forum and didn’t fine the releative topic, at least I didn’t saw. -

well, the point Im making is that you shouldnt be ABLE to tell apart multiple contacts at 120 miles away.

Does new bms support 64bit win?
I mean 64bit exe file.
And are we able to track 4 ship ACs from far than 60 mile?
You know, if I track 4 ship flight from far than about 60 mile , all of them will be shown as one and after 60 mile I will realize that how many they are, this problem prevent me from shooting phonix from high altitue to about 80 Thousands feet or more to achive goal from very far beyond enemy dreams.

exactly what else did you want to add to the ramp start checklist? red dogs one is very close to the real ones Ive read. A few switches set differently, and some NYI (Not Yet Implemented) panels left out.
Id love to see more detailed ground operations in BMS, but part of the issue would be giving users the flexibility in what they wanted to simulate. Lots of airfields have specific ground procedures. Ive been reading about RL ground ops at Kunsan. Yes, a lot more complex than BMS uses. But Id think it would be a lot of work to specify things for airfields so that every airport had its own correct ground procedures that could be set according to reality.
Id say, probably at least as much work as improving vast areas of graphics.
as far as that goes, it would be rather cool if there was a way to spawn a player into the tower a la FSX, and something similar for AWACS/GCI.
Yeah , I agree with you and in fact I have the same point of view as you, if you be Remember , in Aliedforce we had some thing basic to be as ground radar room operators , especially when we joined the camp from AWACS or JStar squadron. it was basic compare to real situation but full of fun. YEAH

why we shouldn’t experience high detailed airport( not graphical I mean, I mean every inch of taxi way have his own code like alpha , echo , delta … and it own number) and complex taxi and take off and landing procedures like reality , as for example, “cowboy 11 with flight number 14355, take off runway 23L from taxi way alpha 130L zulu 02 alpha 11 charlie 30L echo 25R” .
you know , I mean some thing like flight simulator X and even more advance. these are simple thing compare to graphical issues or moving from DX 9 to 11, and give us more fell of reality.
and wish to have even more professional and complex ramp start checklist , some thing beyond engine testings & other checklist that we do in BMS . Yeah fell lack of profession inside of my self. :lol: -

Yes, that’s tragic. Many cable provides simply don’t give any IP v4 adress anymore. I’m stuck with selecting a cable provider with IP v4 instead of selecting the one with the best bandwidth just for BMS.
On the other hand, do you have a workaround for that problem?
there is a simple solution , first find ipv6 based vps and purchase one , then start your dedicate public falcon BMS ipv6 based server ,3rd : advertise about it and finally ==> rock n roll baby :bdance:

I fill that F-14 airframe data & simulated panels are not accurate and realistic. infact tomcat is not realistic maneuver I think. very unstable at low speed and suddenly go to very very deep high AOA stall & very hard( close to impossible) to recover for it. flaps can’t be manually deployed & speed brake not deploying when you are faster than 399 knot. & … .

I saw planes in “Alert” packages in ATO during campaign (click “show all packages”). I think these packages doesnt take off, but if an enemy arrives, they get converted in “Intercept” mission.
So if there isnt any Alert packages on your bases, the enemy can bomb freely.
yes , I think you mean scramble mission AC which are reserved and called alert AC and their mission condition called scramble and what they do is Intercepting enemy AC closing to Airbase to bombard the base.
all bases those have fighter AC or even Attacker AC which are in the front line of war have scramble AC . maybe ABs with out Fighters or attackers AC and only just support and transit AC base haven’t any alert AC( may even haven’t any active fighter in airbase) and mostly seems they are in the deep heart of target team territory , in action reaching them and bombing them are foolish and dangerous unless the attacker reach some parameters . so this will not happen until you 1st make safe Corridor for you aircraft to reach that territory . so you must again first shot down the first line of defense which are interceptors the 2nd which are long range ADF then in 3rd line Mid range ADF and the 4th line Air Artillery ADF . and if an enemy could reach this goal have such supreme power to his enemy that even interceptor in deep heart of territory couldn’t stop him. and in fact they are useless .
But there is good point that is hidden in your sentence , I saw lot of time when the area is temporary clear of friendly cap AC and enemy strike a bridge or logistic or … with no problem or even neighbor Airbase, while in real world if a AC penetrate another country air space illegally in even peace time , the Interceptors scrambling to intercept, some thing that is strongly lacked in BMS. and another thing is Air defense like patriot or Hawk wont engage enemy in 2D map.

I think radio command and sim lack something special. it’s more realstic that randomly in 1 to 1000 plan have warning and some serious fault like in avionic or even fake light that force pilot to cancel the mission in ramp start up and if it’s added so, we need some special command in radio command list to tell awacs that I have some serious problem and have to abort my mission( not request relief command) and give number 2 the lead to continue. even if I am number 2 could only abort my mission not lead or elements. I think request relief in awacs page is not fully ok…

The AIM-54 does not have a dual thrust rocket engine simply the initial thrust build up seems to slower.
I know that, I mean that first it released and after 2 second booster will turn on, I don’t mean dual thrust rocket. ok?!

Hi, I don’t know that is this good place to post this or no. but excuse me if it is.
since falcon is open source I try some modification on it. in fact on aim-54A/C missile .
1st: I give it more boosting ability to reach much more mach .
2nd: give it better and realistic lofting bias & adapt it to guidance delay which make engaging in 10 mile possible but need a little attention and calculation to aspect & angle & … which all pilot must do in any section of engagement no matter what weapon they use.
3rd: giving missile 2 stage booster, I mean that: now missle first released then after 2.5 sec booster will turn on & missile start to loft and climb , of course since I calculate the guidance delay to adapt it to lofting bias and my point was that missile not loose it’s target at close range due to lofting , you can still fire phoenix in 10 mile but you must calculate yours & targets aspect ,angle, altitude, heading & … then find best position for shot.
I’ll be happy if you give me your feed backs.
put the files in …\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Sim\Misdatado not forget to make backup of you orginal files.

I agree with all of you, it the matter of time.
I wish I was coder to spend much time for BMS but sadly I am not .
My solution was going to 64bit to have access to much more Ram, specially with new DDR4 Technology. I know it take lots of time, but may be 64bit version solve many problem . what is your Ideas? -

Shouldn’t take more than 2-3 weeks, and probably a simple folder copy-paste containing the new files.
why it shouldn’t? if it’s take 1 year to improve the sim , it must take 1 year.
Why BMS team try to limit them self to 1 month?
isn’t their Goal to improve the sim and make it unique?
this not the answer , you just erasing the question instead of solution,
I know BMS team work hard to keep sim alive & I am appreciating them for they hard try, but it doesn’t mean BMS must not move forward.
I think here is the solution , that release 64bit BMS to use more than 4 gig ram and … .
specially with new DDR4 Technology which support at least 16GB Ram & … .who can Ignore this beauty ?
