I’ve also seen this happen in campaign, same scenario as above. Returning to base and the home base isn’t landable and ATC diverts me to alternate and the steerpoint automatically swaps over. I dismissed it as me doing something when I happened to me.

RE: Antonov An-22
@Radium Excellent work as per usual! I’ve always found the Antei to be a fascinating shaped aircraft. I’m sure it was a fun challenge to model! Looks like you’ve done a great job!

RE: Zoom slider on Warthog Throttle
@windnc60 have you installed Track IR or Opentrack? I remember not being able to control the zoom with a slider after installing Opentrack for some reason.

RE: HUD too big?
@Enginikts said in HUD too big?:
I guess the whole HUD should be easily readable by the pilot when resting his back on the chair.
I can’t speak specifically for the Viper but it’s very common IRL for HUDs horizontal FOV to exceed what is visible with both eyes through the HUD simultaneously. IE : you have to move your head to the side to see info at the edges of the HUD with both eyes.
But specifically to the Viper, the pilot does not fly with his head against the headrest, that’s mainly for pulling G and looking up out the top of the cockpit in a turn fight, this is due to how far back his head is because of the reclined seat. The normal straight and level flying position has his head above his shoulders, meaning it’s quite a long way from the headrest.

RE: [VR] "My legs are small and my cockpit is tiny" fix
@Mike-0 The F-15 cockpit IS huge compared to the Viper though. It should feel massive.

RE: 3DPIT WISHLIST
@LMR-74 Did you look at the age of the post you were replying to?

RE: Winwing stamina over time.
@Arty oh I agree. I bought it as a present to myself and I knew it was kinda crazy at the time. But I’ve loved every second of flying with it. And my brother who flew the Viper IRL a fair bit thinks BMS through that stick feels very convincing, so that’s good enough for me!

Also 65€ for the plastic adapter? I have that already with about 1€ with two small wedges under the cougar base.
Are you talking about the angle adapter for the FSSB R3? It’s not plastic, it’s machined metal and it’s totally solid. I personally love my FSSB R3, it’s been bulletproof for years of heavy use now. But yes it is expensive.

@SOBO-87 - it’s correct for the RL Platform I work on, so I took a shot…
…also, from the actual Dash 1…
Yes… and the Dash-1 shows that the laser fires on first stage trigger…

RE: what's everyone's FPS on Campaigns for those who are on a RTX 40 series card?
Yep. Massive CPU bottleneck.

RE: TM TQS and Winwing Orion 16EX - what those use for radar cursor microstick?
@Xeno I’ll almost guarantee that TM and Winwing are using the ALPS mini sticks as they are plentiful and certainly winwing uses ALPS stuff elsewhere.
Also remember that TM have even replaced the junk old “nipple” cursor on he original warthog with the new ALPS style one.

RE: TM TQS and Winwing Orion 16EX - what those use for radar cursor microstick?
He also sells a force cursor for the old Cougar TQS which is like the real one. I’ve got the first one off the production line and it’s amazing. Not cheap though but it is so nice to use.

Also I can personally vouch for Damien and deltasim when it comes to customer support. I’ve got 2 force sensors off him (his old Warthog one, new Cougar one) and I have 3 warthog x-box ones as presents for friends and he has been simply excellent with any issues I’ve had.

@hiuuz duuuude you’re smashing it with the F-15 screens. Really getting a photographers eye! Love it!

RE: F16 Cockpit View
@shully1 Have you got zoom bound to an axis?

RE: F 16 Cockpit
@01mulle80 As much as it would be a pain, I would re-download and re-install BMS 4.37 from scratch and see if that solves the issue.
