RE: Performance degradation when seeing altitude modal

RE: Performance degradation when seeing altitude modal
as i said, whenever it is open there is a very noticeable performance degradation.
How to replicate:
- Open ATO window and drag around, see that it is smooth
- Open Altitude window and drag around ATO window again, the smoothness is completely gone
This does not happen with any other window, just altitude window (or whatever you call it) creates this performance hog.
-
RE: Crash to Desktop BMS 4.37.3
@airtex2019 I can replicate every single time, very deterministic and repeatable.
-
Performance degradation when seeing altitude modal
When campaign there is a huge performance drop whenever the altitude modal is visible, way more pronounced when in VR but even in 2d it is visible. This does not happen with others modal.

Crash to Desktop BMS 4.37.3
It is possible to induce a crash to desktop by reproducing the following steps:
- Start a new campaign (tiger spirit) with default settings
- Confirm default priorities
- Halt the timer
- Wait for first missions creation
- Open ATO
- Select show entire ATO
- On ATO window expand one of the packages in OCA (which you are not already a member)
- Select one of the flights and hit join (again that you are not already a member of)
- At this point Frag order should have updated with the squadron you selected but you are not assigned not any flight yet
- Return to ATO and delete that package that you just joined in, and wait for it to be deleted
- Frag order now should state “Planning…”
- Click on Briefing and boom (doesn’t happen for loadout or flightplan)

RE: Questions about bullseye IRL
Yeah basically my doubts are more RL related., whether or not there was some sort of freedom when it comes to bullseye, but since the beginning the logic was pointing to the direction that in RL you have a bullseye set for you, hence you cannot simply change it because it makes your CAP or whatever life easier for you. If this wasn’t the case my question would be how do AWACS adapt to this, would they provide customized BRA indications? That would be insane for the operator, hence why i wanted to clarify. Just a pure matter of curiosity.
Let’s say that this ability to change it in BMS not only in TE but also on the fly via DED to one of your STPT. That made me believe that this was mostly something QoL gaming related rather than mimic RL. I just wanted to clear this doubt out. Of course in game it is easy to instantly compute BRA according to the whoever is hearing the message, which would of course not be feasible for human AWACS in MP games.

Questions about bullseye IRL
It is my understanding that bullseye is some common known pre-defined point decided before mission. However in DED you can change it. It is possible to change in RL? I think so since you have this page. But how does AWACS behave once you change it? At this point, it leads to question whether actually bullseye is something package or flight related rather than theater related.

RE: Pimax Crystal - Jumping
I’m having drifting issues with BMS and only in BMS. I found out that i might directly related to motion compensation. Nonetheless every time i lean forward as if i want to get close to the RWR it starts to drift away from the cockpit.
Another issue i’m facing is some stuttering despite a high ground FPS (90 to 100) in the ground operations training. When i see the AI taking off i can see they jumping a few feet from time to time. It get worse if i on purpose reduce/limit the FPS.
If anyone can provide some help i’d be more than glad.
