win 8 and 8.1 have some issues with usb and powering them… disable for that port the power save.
with 8.1 another member had problems with Cougar MFD’s.

I have a FCC-1 (yes, the first generation) and the FCC-3. Both work famously and the customer support is so good that I’d buy the next generation if there was one with significant improvements.

That being said, if you can deal with a positional stick and don’t have to have a FBW static stick, the stock WartHog FSS is a great value and can be made to work with your Cougar TQS using RealSimulator’s USB adaptor (TUSBA).

For some reason I thought I read that if the unshifted layer was DX that the shifted layer also had to be DX.
Ive been banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out for the last day and half.
After you set me straight it took about 5mins to set it up.

Just wanted to let everyone know, I called Thrustmaster today to check again and they were able to find the part at their European warehouse. Cost was 25 euro. Via email they told me they didn’t have it so if you need parts make sure to call them. I’m just happy I found a replacement.
