Aegean theater v1.5

Just comparison.
Real:Falcon:
I think it’s only needed some blue color distant saturation (but it’s a shader programming issue) and than it’s perfet!

Oki, it is because to me some things immediately catch my eyes.
The Runway texture looks good even if it could be smoother to look more like the real picture.
The runway edge line (white one) is actually not at the edge of the runway on the real picture.
The chevrons are too thick …on the real picture you can see that they are thinner.
The Piano keys are too thick …on the real picture you can see that they are thinner, there is more space between them.
Also, the taxiway running parallel to the runway is a bit too close to the runway.
Those are just points important to me, but only engage my opinion. Else really good job, i myslef wouldn’t be bale to do what you do.

That’s true, but I will not fix it.
As for the rest, see:
On the left - 3Ds model
On the right - background image.Runway looks better on the center (more skid marks);)
-
Yup, do not hesitate to do the skid marks more black … it’s actually a deposit of rubber on the runway. Really nice work and thank you for accepting my critiques, i hope they help.

.
About this, Arek is correct.
The specific RWY had extended at the width, that’s why you see the threshold stripes from the 2x4 at the first real photo to 2x5 at the google map’s photo.
In real life now it has a width of 164 FT. I know that 150 FT width of RWY gives a 2x6 stripes, but the department knows something that we don’t know ;).

Hi there my friend, i hope to be fine.
Well of course the new/next Aegean theater will be “clean” again, means without the pilot’s legs mod installed as default.
But since it is a good add on and due to the great work and help by my friend Mladen “jomla”, we will be able to install it, at least all of us that wanted to.
Finally Mladen created a nice new updated Aegean theater map, so I Thank him very much!
So no problem for anyone ;).

Hi All,
Apologies in advance for my ignorance, as I am new to the Aegean theatre (have completed a Korea campaign previously). My question is that, can I download and install the latest v1.5 directly or will I have to download / install all previous versions first? (v1.1, v1.3…).
Thank you and best regards,
-
I believe the latest version is a standalone install.

Hi there my friend.
Thank you for your interest to Aegean theater and no need for apologies ;).
Well Aegean theater v1.5 is the latest one for now and it is a stand alone version.
That means that you don’t need any previous Aegean theater version, only this latest v1.5 one!
Enjoy and see you.

Thanks Nikos!

Better late than never, today I install this decent theatre to my new install. Thanks to all involved!

Hi There
Just to mention, i ran the installation file Aegean1.5 and it put me all the data right into the main root c:/Falcon BMS 4.32/Add-On Aegean.
i changed the theatrelist as mentioned but no new theatre came up in game. so i moved the Add-On Aegean folder into data folder so it shows up c:/Falcon BMS 4.32/Data/Add-On Aegean
Now everythings fine Don’t know if i made a mistake while installation routine….
thanks for your great work !Tom

Hi there Tom.
Thank you for your kindly words about Aegean theater v1.5.
Now about the installer and the execution, it was a simple misunderstanding by you.
See the next photo of the first screen after you run the .exe file:The installer prompts you to extract the files exactly into the folder that you run the .exe file (means into the folder that contains the .exe installer).
In the previous example/photo, i have the installer into here: C:\Temp.
And you can see that it prompts to me as the extraction folder the same, means: C:\Temp.
But you can easily read at the first 2 lines: Hit to “Browse…” and point to the folder “Data”, means here: …\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data.
So it is clear that you must hit to “Browse…” and then find and point to the correct folder …\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data.
In your case, you should point to: C:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data, but obviously you left the path as prompted (C:\Falcon BMS 4.32) because you had place the installer exe file into there (means into folder C:\Falcon BMS 4.32).
I hope to be very clear now.
Enjoy the Aegean theater.
