Weapon Delivery Planner released

I’m using WDP v3.7.1. In the WDP article, section titled “Maps”, it says “The bullseye can be changed as well. Right mouse click and place the bullseye”.
What do I have to do after the right click in order to set a new bullseye?

New version released today.
Latest version is 3.7.1Thanks Falcas. I might have an issue, every time I fire it up it asks me what is my callsign within Falcon. Is this normal?
-
Thanks for the new version!
I also had this with the version you send me when you were trying to fix the error with the weather list (because no alternate plate was selected in the mission).
Don’t know about the newly build 3.7.1 version though.Btw: how do you start it up correctly? Go to BMS, load a mission, take your seat in the flight, set the waypoints and their timing, altitude, … (normally I don’t set the radio freq. in here)
Then Alt+Tab out of the game? and use WDP? Go back in game and start it?
The thing is: I notice that although I’ve set the radio in WDP, it doesn’t remember it if I go ingame. -

While in the UI, load the DTC. This will set the radios as you have saved them in WDP.Gr Falcas

No, that is not how it should be. I can replicate it here, so will be fixed in a sec.
For now you can “fix” this on you own system. Go to the DTC tab, Main tab. There you can change the pilot name. Notice that it is probably blank that.
After you changed it there, it should be good.Gr Falcas

Hi JC,
The article is from 2011, these kinds of details have been changed
WDP does not save the mission files, so it makes no sense to set/change the bullseye in WDP.
You can only see the bullseye on the map.If you want to change the bullseye location (outside of BMS) you can use MC for that.

I’m ok with saving the DTC in WDP, I always save the radio page as well (meaning the bulb lights up green after saving).
So after that I go back in the Falcon BMS UI and open up the DTC over there and then click load or something and not save?
I have the option set that I manually have to load the DTC in 3D world, does this still apply then? -

No need to do double work. Saving the DTC in WDP only needs to be done once. Every “Save DTC” button on each page do the same thing, save the complete DTC.
Its there, so you don’t need to switch to different tabs all the time to save the DTC.So after that I go back in the Falcon BMS UI and open up the DTC over there and then click load or something and not save?
If you click on Save (DTC) in BMS, you will overwrite what you have just saved in WDP with the values that are in BMS.
If you do this, it makes sense it doesn’t work.I have the option set that I manually have to load the DTC in 3D world, does this still apply then?
When/if you have to load the DTC depends on how you enter the 3D world. Go to “Ramp” and you have to.
Go to “Fly” and the DTC should be loaded already. It never hurts to load the DTC if you have the correct data saved in the DTCGr Falcas

Thanks for clarifying things, but I just want to be very clear on your last sentence:
“It never hurts to load the DTC if you have the correct data saved in the DTC”What do you exactly do in the Falcon BMS UI then? You click on the right side on the DTC.
The DTC window pops up and then you have to click load on every subpage its load button or something?
(Sorry I’m not at home and I can’t check it out. I don’t know everything by heart) -

Great, that will solve my problem! Love your tool btw, it has become a must!
Will try out now to start using the Pop-up attacks and such, because I’m reading your manual since this weekend -
Your temporary hack on filling in the pilot name in the DTC works!
Top job of implementing the kneeboard, really saves me a lot of time!

After I am finished doing what I need to do in WDP, go into 2d UI and hit load, it is moving my STPT lines. For example, if I have STPT lines in the form of a square, one of them disappears and I now have a triangle. Any idea why this is happening? I apologize if this has been answered in some previous thread but I haven’t been able to find an answer.

Thats a known bug in the DTC loading in BMS.
Only thing you can do at this time is manualy relocate the last Point as this is co-located with the previous point.Gr Falcas

Hi Falcas,
What does the “Swing” column represent? I couldn’t find documentation anywhere.

Hi,
This column if for the swing check. Same as
This check is done while in the cockpit to check if the stpts are correctly inserted into the computer.
The values on the datacard are the bearing/distance from homeplate to the various stpts.
Select the stps and check the brg/dist on the HSI.Gr Falcas

Disregard the rest of this post. I gave HSI data for the wrong flight, SEAD Escort instead of TARCAP. I am sorry. FALCAS Datacard is correct.
I checked the brg/dist on the HSI and there seems to be a discrepancy around Stpt 5, 6, and 7. Is there any action I’m supposed to take to correct the discrepancy?
To summarize:

Swing is brg/dist from bullseye?

From current position before flight. It’s a good way to verify flight plan was entered properly from back in the day of manual punch up or cards or whatever. It’s pretty obvious if you have the wrong flight’s flight plan loaded which can happen in BMS. Checks involving BE are known as “alpha check” and is more to check everyone has the correct BE than anything else.
