For those who have a problem with the installer, I made a package without an installer.
Unzip in a safe place and keep all the directories.

@bill_3810:
Error Installing WDP.
Version 3.7.0.62 Installation Error
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. NOT TRUE it’s my local hard drive
Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package WDP. msi in the box below.pointing me here: C:\Users\Sandman\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EXa0.061\
Not sure why it’s asking this i’m using the setup and wdp.mis from the unzipped folder that I downloaded from your site.
I’ve tried pointing it to the unzipped folder that contains the WDP.msi but no luck.
Not sure what’s going on here. Back to the old version until I can get some help with this one.
It appears the failure to install was generated by not being able to find the old MSI file to uninstall my older version of WDP. When I tried to uninstall this older version myself from Programs in the control panel the very same message was generated. I deleted the older version of WDP from my hard drive and removed the registry entries manually. Installation of the new version was successful.
Cheers

To come back on my post #1392 in this thread: I can confirm it was the regular korean theater KTO.
The problem persists after reboot. How I solved it:
- created new campaign in KTO
- Opened up a random flight from the new campaign with WDP and then it works just fine
- After doing this I retried opening the wanted mission from the ongoing campaign, and then it works also fine…
I was able to do the mission and afterwards I tried again to load the same flight problematic flight with WDP resulting in the same issue.
Same solution did however solve the problem again.Hope this helps

I have a strange problem.
Every time I start WDP I get the error “Current selected theater in BMS not found!”
When I load a campaign I get the question “Mission file belongs to theater: Balkans Your falcon install is set to theater: Korea ….”
It looks like falcon did not change the theater well.
I’m using the Balkans v3.0 and I run WDP on a network PC.Thanks for the help.
Best regards
Jorik -
I get the question “Mission file belongs to theater: Balkans Your falcon install is set to theater: Korea ….”
Shouldn’t you get the option to select whether you want to use Balkans or Korea in that case? It’s probably phrased as “Are you sure you want to use theater X? Yes/No” or something similar.

JorikDoes the network PC have a copy of BMS installed? If so, does the theatre match current theatre on the local PC? If not, it may well be that WDP is reading network PC (being local to WDP) and not finding a registry entry, defaulting to Korea.

No the laptop did not have any version of BMS installed even not in the past.

I’m using WDP v3.7.1. In the WDP article, section titled “Maps”, it says “The bullseye can be changed as well. Right mouse click and place the bullseye”.
What do I have to do after the right click in order to set a new bullseye?

New version released today.
Latest version is 3.7.1Thanks Falcas. I might have an issue, every time I fire it up it asks me what is my callsign within Falcon. Is this normal?
-
Thanks for the new version!
I also had this with the version you send me when you were trying to fix the error with the weather list (because no alternate plate was selected in the mission).
Don’t know about the newly build 3.7.1 version though.Btw: how do you start it up correctly? Go to BMS, load a mission, take your seat in the flight, set the waypoints and their timing, altitude, … (normally I don’t set the radio freq. in here)
Then Alt+Tab out of the game? and use WDP? Go back in game and start it?
The thing is: I notice that although I’ve set the radio in WDP, it doesn’t remember it if I go ingame. -

While in the UI, load the DTC. This will set the radios as you have saved them in WDP.Gr Falcas

Thanks Falcas. I might have an issue, every time I fire it up it asks me what is my callsign within Falcon. Is this normal?
No, that is not how it should be. I can replicate it here, so will be fixed in a sec.
For now you can “fix” this on you own system. Go to the DTC tab, Main tab. There you can change the pilot name. Notice that it is probably blank that.
After you changed it there, it should be good.Gr Falcas

Hi JC,
The article is from 2011, these kinds of details have been changed
WDP does not save the mission files, so it makes no sense to set/change the bullseye in WDP.
You can only see the bullseye on the map.If you want to change the bullseye location (outside of BMS) you can use MC for that.

Hi,
After you are done in WDP and saved the DTC, where the radios are saved as well, go back to the BMS UI.
While in the UI, load the DTC. This will set the radios as you have saved them in WDP.Gr Falcas
I’m ok with saving the DTC in WDP, I always save the radio page as well (meaning the bulb lights up green after saving).
So after that I go back in the Falcon BMS UI and open up the DTC over there and then click load or something and not save?
I have the option set that I manually have to load the DTC in 3D world, does this still apply then? -

No need to do double work. Saving the DTC in WDP only needs to be done once. Every “Save DTC” button on each page do the same thing, save the complete DTC.
Its there, so you don’t need to switch to different tabs all the time to save the DTC.So after that I go back in the Falcon BMS UI and open up the DTC over there and then click load or something and not save?
If you click on Save (DTC) in BMS, you will overwrite what you have just saved in WDP with the values that are in BMS.
If you do this, it makes sense it doesn’t work.I have the option set that I manually have to load the DTC in 3D world, does this still apply then?
When/if you have to load the DTC depends on how you enter the 3D world. Go to “Ramp” and you have to.
Go to “Fly” and the DTC should be loaded already. It never hurts to load the DTC if you have the correct data saved in the DTCGr Falcas

Thanks for clarifying things, but I just want to be very clear on your last sentence:
“It never hurts to load the DTC if you have the correct data saved in the DTC”What do you exactly do in the Falcon BMS UI then? You click on the right side on the DTC.
The DTC window pops up and then you have to click load on every subpage its load button or something?
(Sorry I’m not at home and I can’t check it out. I don’t know everything by heart)
