Stuck on receiving units.
-
Additional, don’t know if related, the online game showed 0 teams and 0 airplanes, but eventually we could get into the game and se a 4 ship F-16.
Might be a clue:
Ensure that you have at least 2 teams.
Known issue: If you paint the entire map in blue and or suppress the red team (only 1 team reaming) the TE will work in solo player, but client will be stuck in Receiving Untis in MP.
Of course, no need to say: do not try TE made under 432 (non compatible with 433)

Aha, that could be the case. Was a quick fam ride so only 1 4ship, probably no red team.

Please keep up informed.

Had the same issue twice yesterday when trying MP with 3 guys.

Despite all the missions I made, I did not know that…
First mission we tried, I indeed removed red team; second time, I coloured it all blue but left red. Good to know that’s a no-go for flights like this. -
port forwarding
We don’t port forward. I did try on this router (its not mine to play with)
I was making the Connection received Clouds and Objects but got stuck on Units.
Connect to a Lan Game was OK.I did a reinstall now all is good thanks.
Regards all

dubious connexions should be avoided…
Port forwarding is important for smooth MP

We have no option on this router, ports can not be forward to more then one lan address.
And even then it nominates it as a “Server”
-
Long time since I did this but iirc I had to forward each port on its own, I couldn’t do a “port range”. So on row one it was start 2934 stop 2934 and on row two start 2935 and stop 2935.

DMZ?

DNE !
Does Not Exist, on this router. Only for a single Lan IP setup as a server. Not for multiple Lan address.
But thanks bud.

Yes I am familiar with that.
Those ports can not be forwarded to more then one lan “address”. And it regards it as a “SERVER”
Other routers I have owned, no problem. This one belongs to my “Flat mate”
On a side note we are getting awsome speeds with this router (close to the ADSL standard max, 16000 of the 20000bit max, which is good for our current state of affair. Local fiber is on its way in 3-4 BMS weeks}
-
As Archer would say plug the ADSL line cable to the network card you will be OK probably.

It doesn’t work like that Arty, dissimilar networks need a router or bridge for interconnect. And in our case we still need a modem in the router.
ADSL to ethernet.
