CCIP Cockpit Mod

For the block 50, you have to edit the ckptart/3dckpit.dat file too. Not just the one in the F-16CM-50 folder
Thanks for confirmation, Cougar.

Perhaps a change to have a HAF pit model too at some point please? I can provide full details, 1:1 cockpit arrangements are ready for a dozen of blocks…

Definitely I shouldn’t talk about the plan in the future, because my first priority work(Block 50 CCIP) is not finished yet
Thank you for offering great idea, Raptor. -
Okay, this is kinda WIP report, even it’s unusual for me.
I’ve added a round plane on the surface of RWR Azimuth Indicator, and it has same effect as canopy you can see in external 3D model.
Actually it looks so nice, but I have an issue about display RWR symbols. When you look straight forward, no problem.
But when I move my point of view to the left, have some graphical glitches in RWR symbols.
I confirmed that it comes with confliction between RWR symbols(Render-to-Texture, pType 22) and glass effect(pType 25), and failed to find the solution for it.
So I have to give up this nice effectI hope this issue will be fixed in the future.

Hi, Yoda!
Thank you for your kind words.I really don’t see the release date of the mod for 4.33. (aka 3-4 weeks)
But I’m also looking forward to use my mod in the simulator, so just working hard now. -
I’m confused by difference of visual effect in pType 19 between 4.32 and 4.33.
The following image was taken in 4.33.
As you can see, altimeter, mach number indicator and bezel of AoA and VS indicator are shining itself.
Obviously, these looks unnatural.
The pType number of these parts are 19.
Note: The pType of Air Speed Indicator and ADI are 9, so it looks natural, and that’s what I need. The next image was taken in 4.32, the pType of altimeter is 19 as well, and it’s not shining.
Is there any chance to get natural effect in 4.32 back?
I tried to change 19 to 21, but I got same self shining effect on it under the sun.
I need pType 9 style natural looking with image alpha.
I’m asking for devs.Regards.
-
I confirmed that pType 21 also have same shiny effect as 19.
So it means it’s impossible to get natural material like pType 9 while using image alpha. It’s a shame for me.

Okay, no response so far. (yay!)
Hope dev team recognize this problem for better quality. -
Hi, guys! Happy holidays!
It’s time to update the state of CCIP Cockpit Mod.I was planing to release the new version of this mod as christmas gift for you, but was unable to do that.
Currently, I’m working on some flood lights in the cockpit, and still not see the release date.Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year!

PeCa_Chuck,
it’s always amazing to see a process like this growing up and step by step.
IMHO, that’s the way to make all the final users conscious of all the odds and the hard work more in general behind the product all of us will donload and install in our systems one day.High respect and best regards,
