Why VMS' "caution" message sounds like it does?

I would expect it to sound like this:
But my non-native hears could swear she’s saying “coffee”.
“Coffee, coffee”… No thanks honey, I just took an R-77 up my $%& and I am on fire. Maybe later.

Sounds like ‘Caution’ to me… really dont know how to hear ‘coffee’ instead.

My 2 cents… It sounds perfectly like “caution” on my rig

I sometimes hear “coffin”. Which often is spot on.

Sounds perfectly “CAUTION” to me.
Whatever it sounds, all Betty sounds has been sampled from real recordings.

I still hear coffee.

So, can any native English speaker comment on this?
I’m English, and in the Southern half where I’m from we say it like “Cor-shurn!”
I think US English most say it like “Caw-shun”

Perhaps it is saying coffee to warn the pilot that he is getting close to the ground and watch he doesn’t spill his coffee
