Top work there, keep it up!

I’d say she’s coming along “smoothly”. The hype is real!

Awesome work Stingray!

Some impressions:
Time to assemble me, Baby.
Well one remark here my dear friend:
The ventral fins are the same and have the same shape both of them. Means they are not mirrored.
Check the below photos:

Can you please correct it? Thanks a lot and keep your AWESOME work buddy

Nikos.Eagle eye :). You’re right, the engine oil cooling duct is on the inside of the starboard fin.
The reason is that the fin is currently grouped with the engine pods and these are mirrored atm. It’s more convenient to adjust stuff like that once the mirror is applied in the end when all vertices are in their ‘final’ position.
PS: M.A.T.S. for the win! I actually contacted Torsten a couple of years ago to use one of his pics - nice guy!

Sometimes I feel you just need some motivation and inspiration when spending 100s of hours on modelling this most elegant of Naval jets to get every line right. So I figure I might as well share it
These are Alphas big in Japan in the 90s.
As one commenter put it…
Any Knight Baby.

THANKS A LOT.Nikos is right, as his usual, but Stingray, please believe me, what I’m seeing is awesome…
I’m watching the birth of a ‘bird’. Step by step.
And what a bird! I can’t figure if it were a Tornado, then (hint, hint)Come on, keep on this way straight and release it ASAP!
With warmest congratulations and best regards,

I can’t figure if it were a Tornado, then
I do love me some Tornado ever since I witnessed the daily high speed low level fly-bys over the Northsea coastlines by ‘Luftwaffe’ and ‘Marine’ jets some 20 years ago…
Thanks for your wishes

Stingray,
from better to better again shot after shot… and I could figure the final results too!
And if one day you were beginning a new Tornado project, :rolleyes:With best wishes and regards,

Very nice stingray_SIX_TWO! (But please, reassure us, N. has nothing to do with this production?)

I guess I should be flattered by that comment only I’m not. In fact I resent it. I need the Gorn or some ponies here to cheer me up, seriously.
Send me the contact details of anyone who questions the authenticity of any of my work and I reassure you I’ll be glad to destroy their arguments faster than you can say ‘bombs away’ in private or in public.
Just a quick glance at both models to a trained eye (and I say this as an untrained rookie) would save you the time to even ask ;).
So yeah, you can rest assured.
The only thing I use other models like Aerosoft, Leatherneck or Dino Cattaneo’s Tomcat for is spotting their mistakes so I can improve on virtual representation of the F-14 in my own.
