Possible bug in 4.33

Not following. Music?
Sorry, i misunderstood your post, i thaught you were in the menu, but in 3D world, were there any AI’s even around?
-
I wouldn’t be surprised if some PC screen saver or power saving process got tied up in this.
-
I had this problem where just mid flight the current audio would loop and when going in external view the sound would stop. I fixed this by uninstalling the Realtek Audio Drivers.
-
Try to uninstall your neighbors.
Sorry.

Was interrupted mid flight by some neighbors, pressed pause and left the sim as is.
Came 2 hours later to no sound. Everything is ok, but sound. Had to scrap the mission but did an alt-tab and checked - windows sounds were there.
No sound in ui as well after debrief. Relaunched as all was back to normal.
Nobody touched the sim, no kids, no dogs etc.Did you lose all sounds? Or did you still get some system sounds, such as the engine and clicks? Or in other words, did you lose communications? I have had this kind of problem during online flights; after unpausing the sim runs normally but comms may be lost. I have always been the client. The host of the flight has, however, reported his in-game comms working normally. As a “workaround”, we have just decided not to pause the sim in-flight.

Lost all falcon sound (totally) in 3d world. Including UI (clicks etc) after exiting 3d world. Alt-tabbed to windows and win sounds were there. Alt-tab back - still nada.
-
Funny things have always happened in Falcon when the clock is messed with. This is why nobody runs the clock too fast and you don’t normally pause a flight for two hours.
sortofred is likely correct that your screensaver or power save kicked in. Alt-tabbing has also been known to cause issues for a lot of folks, and usually, I only do this if the game freezes in 3D. (happened sometimes with an older computer) I don’t remember the last time I had to Alt/Tab.
Esc/Discard Mission - will take you back to the time that you clicked Take Off in the UI to start the mission, so when a glitch occurs you don’t need to scrap the mission. It is always helpful to save the campaign before you start the mission as well, for obvious reasons.
I would guess your dealing with more of a glitch, than a bug.

@Delta u uninstalled realtek audio drivers and?
1. I have another sound card in my system?
2. Installed new drivers?
3. Used the Force? -
No screensaver, custom power scheme in constantly on, screen was on thruout with PAUSE blinking.
Alt-tabbed just to verify if i have system sounds.
Yes, i did esc/discard and returned to the ui with no sounds present as well.
Not used freeze, only pause. Always save and resave as well, so no loss. -
After I uninstalled the drivers the force must have been with me because I didnt do anything else. I already had the nvidia sound drivers installed though.
I dont have another sound card
