Cockpit clarity

I do not understand why the 3D cockpit seems so washed out; I was reminded of how things used to be when I did the Base F4 install to satisfy the new installation requirements. Even F4:AF has brighter colors and more definition.
I say that based upon my look at their base, unmodified installs.
Am I missing something? Even the YouTube videos seem to replicate my results. The cockpit panel seems murky and dull; when the cockpit lighting is on, things are somewhat better. The MFDs stand out in sharp contrast to the rest of the instruments, almost as if they are not from the same scene.
When the cockpit is strongly backlit, like by flares, then the cockpit detail really pops out, but under normal use, that seem to happen rarely.
I guess I am remembering the wonderful Aeyes 3D cockpits of yore: [They are bright and vibrant, like I remembered.
Can I make any adjustments to bring some color and vibrancy to them?](They are bright and vibrant, like I remembered.

Links to payware sites like the one you had in your post will be removed by moderators. BMS doesn’t support payware mods and therefore they can’t be advertised here. I know it wasn’t intentional but just FYI.

Tom’s cockpit texture might suit your needs.

Well, thanks for that; I was linking to show the pictures, of course, not the product. Aeyes has been around Falcon a long time and I thought those photos showed Falcon cockpit textures in a good light.
Still, though, looking for help with those dark, hard-to-see cockpit textures. I’ve seen people post videos where the jet makes several horizontal circles, on a sunny day, and the sunlight should have popped through to brighten things up, but the cockpit appearance remains dull.
I thank JaRoLLz for his comment, but honestly, I don’t have a clue about what he means.
Why have the 3D cockpit textures become so dark and indistinct?

shadows in pit setting is also often turned off as it eats up fps.
as a result sunlight in pit is also turned off. -

as a result sunlight in pit is also turned off. Thanks, I’m going to give that a try, and let Gsync take care of frame-rate. I know the cockpit detail is there, because in certain transitory moments, it can be seen.

Also the people who upload their BMS footage to YouTube often use the SweetFX mod giving the capability of enhancing the colour saturation and contrast (among other features).
