Sure, I will also make it, I will arrange Kuznetsov to make the Liaoning. In fact, Liaoning and Kuznetsov are both Varyag class. So, there is not so much work to make a CV16 Liaoning out of a TAKR Kuznetsov! It won’t be a repaint, but a rebuild/retrofit.
By the way, Kuznetsov is now finished. I hereby close the Kuznetsov chapter.

May I ask for some details on the fences and the lifecrafts?
For the fences are they from splines to polygons? or u made a plane and used transparency on the texture?
also how many tris or polys are your life craft? you have them one by one or something else?I’m making my first battleship and I believe my polygons are way high (39764 triangles / 20306 polygons (According to 3ds max poly counter helper)) then anticipated (4000 triangles) or BMS limit is way low. I can reduce them a bit more but going bellow 20-30k tris I believe I must make all details squares.

Here is how I worked for TAKR Kuznetsov :
- Structural fences 1), are made with full 3D meshes
- Small fences 2), are made with cut planes, to have accurate shadows
- Nets 3), are made out of alpha channels

This is a very simple plane, then, you draw and remove on that plane the form of your fences. This is highly simple!
